Favorite Heroes per Category!!!

So this game has been out for a while now and I'm sure many of you have chosen your favorite Hero for each role in the game. Who are they and why:

Warrior: Chen: He's not very popular, but I love building his Trait to be so hard to kill. Also the talent that shields nearby allies...super fun.

Assassin: Thrall: I love his kit. I build him to maximize his trait to make give him some sustain. He's a beast!

Support: Lili: Fun kit and decent heals. Her heal Ult makes her ridiculous in a team fight.

Specialist: Gazlowe: My favorite specialist and my favorite Hero!! Depending on the situation I build him to jungle and if my team isn't doing so hot in team skirmishes I pick the Grav-o-bomb 3000 to ruin the other team with Xplodium charges.

I'm sure some of these choices will change over time as new heroes emerge, but right now these are my go-to!!!

Warrior: Johanna: I just tried her for the first time this week as she is on a rotation for the first time, I have to say she is very enjoyable hero to play. I love how you can run in and cause havoc with all the CC. I always hated playing Warriors, but I want to buy her so bad now. Now I would place her in my top 3 favourite heroes!

Assassin: Nova: It is quite addictive to play her, wiping out reckless heroes is fun. For some reason I suck at playing all the other Assassins except Falstad who I enjoy playing nearly as much as I do enjoy Nova.

Support: Malfurion: Although Tassadar is my most played support, I actually enjoy Malfurion more. Not sure why, but I prefer him to other 'healing supports'. Of the 'utility supports', I like Tassadar more than Tyrande.

Specialist: Abathur: My favourite Hero actually. I love the different playstyle and all the ways you can build him. Also his voice and way of speaking is amazing. I played Sylvanas a lot before, but once you learn to play Abathur he is extremely rewarding to play.

[Frozen Death Knight]

Warrior: Anub'arak.

Assassin: Nova/Zeratul (up in the air currently, since I haven't played a lot of either of them to make a decision).

Support: Uther.

Specialist: Zagara, no contest.

[Radux]

• Warrior: Tyrael. I also really dig Johanna and Muradin quite a bit.
• Assassin: Jaina. I also like playing Falstad and Kerrigan, though I'm not top notch with them.
• Support: Tassadar. I've also been enjoying Lili with the new blind changes.
• Specialist: Zagara & Nazeebo. Both are just incredible. Also Murky is a fun pick (especially if I've been drinking too much and die too much).

In general I prefer playing Warrior over any other role, but when I do play other roles I prefer aggressive heroes (also that's why I like Tyrael so much).

Warrior : Sonya. I know most people hate her, but I kinda find her enjoyable at times.
Assasin: Zeratul
Specialist: I hate most of the specialists.
Support: Tassadar or Li-Li

• Warrior: Stitches, although I like Johanna a lot too.
• Assassin: Kerrigan. I'm not much of an assassin fan, though. It plays to my weaknesses.
• Support: Rhegar, hands down.
• Specialist: Witch doctor

Warrior: Tyrael. I'm not the best with Warriors, but if I have to play as one, it's only Tyrael.
Assassin: Raynor. I'm not the fan of Assassins, too, but Raynor is pretty easy.
Support: Malfurion. My first hero since beta, and still my favourite of all, especially after latest patch.
Specialist: Nazeebo. Especially zombie hands are really useful. Now he's my second main, after Malfurion.

Warrior: To hard to decide between Sonya and ETC. Sonya because I love the in-your-face brusier and ETC between HE ROCKS! Get it? Cause he.. plays a guitar? Hah... ha...

Specialist: Abathur no question. So fun to play every time unless you get a bad comp in QM. But then you can always build pusherthur anyway.

Support: Was BW until the recent patch; he lost a lot of his fun factor for me. Now its probably Tassadar. I like that he's an all-arounder.

Assassin: Splitting into ranged and melee since they are too different:
Melee: Illidan. I mean comeon, who else? He is so freaking fun.
Ranged Kael. So strong and huge nuke damage all over the place. Love it.

Warrior: I like running havoc with sonya, crazy damageoutput lategame

Assassin: Valla can be a mean machine

Support: I like malf, rooting is great utility, handing some mana out and solid regen along with an uninterruptible ult heal

Specialist: Nazeebo is a beast lategame, golem, jumping spiders, and zombiewall are great

Warrior: Tyrael or Johanna. I love Judgement and Blessed Shield. When I play warrior i always go for those two.

Specialist: Sylvanas with a total of 947 games played and Sylvanas being 198 of those games I think its safe to say she is easily my favorite specialist and favorite hero.

Support: Rehgar is my favorite Healer for sure. Eating people with feral lunge and wrecking healing charts is great.

Assassin: For a long time I hated the assassin role but i didnt really know how to play it since this is my first MOBA. but as I played I fell in love with Jaina for ranged and Zeratul for melee.

Warrior: Anub'arak two stunning abilities, an on demand mega shield, the most freeform gap closer in the game and three different viable talent builds. Diablo makes a close second, though. I might play him more and find him more enjoyable when his Archangel skin comes out, but alas Blizzard is delaying for some reason.

Assassin: Butcher: Feels very hefty and requires an incredible amount of skill and judgement to master at high levels.

Support: Uther: Pretty much a warrior+support in all but name (save for having no gap closer), this beast can hold the front line, heal, and dish out the hurt. Feels hefty too.

Specialist: Abathur: I need not explain this one.

Warrior: Ugh... Muradin I guess.
Assassin: Raynor.
Support: Rehgar or maybe LiLi.
Specialist: Tie between Murky and Abathur.

Warrior: Jo or Mura. Chen for fun-value
Supp: Rehgar by a mile
Assassin: Butcher or Valla
Spec: ugh. Zeebo if I have to

Warrior: Stitches, he's just the most fun to play. I don't think he really works as a solo tank since you'ree pretty damn squishy, I think he works fine with a Johanna or w/e, for example, though.

Support: LiLi, I don't really like support. Going full troll build on LiLi is pretty fun though.

Specialist: Pretty hard one, I'm really enoying Abathur (and I played a lot of Zagara and some Azmodan too) lately but since Sylvanas is still hands down my most played character, I'll say Sylvanas.

Assassin: Another tough one, I own them all except 2 (Kerrigan/Thrall). Valla is my most played one so I guess I'll go with her but I do like Nova alot aswell (or any of them, really).

Warrior: Tyrael, hands down. Runners up would be Muradin and ETC.

Assassin: Valla I think. I'm not very good at assassins :-(

Support: Before the nerf it was Rehgar, I loved being able to go a full healer build, or build more around feral lunge; Brightwing was a close second. Since the patch, I'm still exploring.

Specialist: Tied between Abathur and Sgt Hammer.

Warrior: Anub... maybe Johanna
Assassin: Zeratul... maybe Valla
Support: Tassadar... maybe Malfurion
Specialist: Azmodan... maybe Nazeebo

Warrior: Muradin: Didn't like him at first and Warrior is probably my least favourite category anyway. Only other Warrior I can play is Tyrael.

Assassin: Nova: I love Nova! Only play her in QM though, she isn't very good for ranked. I have been trying Zeratul this week as he is on the rotation, think he will be next buy. Kael'thas is also fun, as is Valla.

Support: Malfurian: Great healer, even before the patch. Very fun to play. Lilli is boring and I've not tried Rehgar yet.

Specialist: Sylvanas: Only specialist I have properly tried!

Warrior: Muradin- I like how tanky he can be compared to the other warriors I've played (have not played all of them yet).

Assassin: Valla- I don't really play assassins a lot and melee assassins even less.

Support: Li Li- I really dislike supports so I'm glad I can at least do a somewhat damaging build with her.

Specialist: Sylvanas- I like her ease of use and it feels really nice playing her. My runner up is Azmodan though.
