I pay 45 DKK ($6,60 - €6,03 - £4,26), quite a nice price for 100/100 connection that is included in my rent, and shared with 5 other people that never uses their computers

My mom lives in a small town, pays $40/m for 1.5 Mbps DSL and $20/m for the phoneline she only uses for DSL, so $60/m. Pretty awful.
An hour away in Austin we can get 5 Mbps for "free" ($300 installation + $25/m for a year) or 1 Gbps for $70/m through Google Fiber.
100Mb/s both directions for 12 euro/mo, no limitations, plug the cable in a router and do whatever you want with the bandwidth: as many computers as you want, Wifi, IPTV, etc.
P.S. There's an option for 300Mb/s for 20 euro/mo, but I'm not feeling uncomfortable with 100Mb yet. Plus other ISP are coming to the area offering up to 1Gb/s for 40 euro/mo, but that's too much. Will wait it out so more offers like that are on the market and prices go down.

All right, gentleperchildren, let's review. The year is 2024 - that's two-zero-two-four, as in the 21st Century's perfect vision - and I am sorry to say the world has become a pussy-whipped, Brady Bunch version of itself, run by a bunch of still-masked clots ridden infertile senile sissies who want the Last Ukrainian to die so they can get on with the War on China, with some middle-eastern genocide on the side

this happens when private corps. take government funds and spends them lobbying their monopoly instead of building infrastructures
Australians have it real bad and even Canada has it worse than US. But if you really want your head to explode look up South Korea. Even Hong Kong has pretty good speed. The people from Tek Syndicate actually went there recently and were blown away from their internet speeds and said America should be ashamed.

100/10 fiber, $52.
It's pretty expensive and the provider is kinda shit. There are no other alternatives in my area since my current provider bought my old one. Yay for Monopoly!

I have 100/100 mbps included in my rent for the apartment, so I pay nothing extra for internet.
£26(or 28) for 80/20 totally unlimited.
I pay 47$ a month (US) for like 35 Mbps. It's about 4-5 MB/s actual download speed. Like 12 latency though. And that's wifi. Wired I get like 10-12 MB/s.

I pay around £75/month for 1000 landline minutes to all non-09 numbers, all channels but the premium ones, and 152Mb/s down, 40Mb/s up (unlimited, traffic-shaping during period of high-demand.) The part that's directly attributable to the internet access drops it to around £15/month just fro the web access.
