    Stance on gender fluid/binary bathrooms?

So apparently the Feminist Club of my school is pushing said bathroom, and holding a discussion for the gender binary/gender fluid bathrooms.

What's your stance on Gender fluid/binary bathrooms in school/the work place?

I don't really care. I never really understood why the bathrooms should be separated to begin with.

Bathrooms are separated for very clear, and obvious reasons. You could identify as a gender-queer inverted toaster for all I care, you go and use the bathroom that is assigned and used for you specific gender for a reason. Do we really need to be making all this nonsense more real than it already is.

As I said, I don't care what you identify as, but don't be stupid. You can't have bathrooms for all the different genders, or just one unisex bathroom everywhere. I've cleaned bathrooms in the past, and I can tell you that I really don't want to share with Women. It's disgusting.

If its a Single stall yes.

If not, why? Is the company, school, restaurant est too cheap to build two restrooms?

As long as there's a room to take a shit in that I can take a shit in I'm happy.

An absurd idea from a group of people who think the uber slim minority should be able to dictate anything and everything to the vast majority.

What's the "very clear, and obvious reasons?" I share with a woman (my girlfriend) all the time without any trouble.

As long as there are devices in all bathrooms that will murder those who don't clean up after themselves after they have used the bathroom.

Not a fan, personally. Especially if championed by groups like that.

Honestly, I"m okay with co-ed bathrooms as long as they're clean. I'm female, and in about 3 hours, I'll be in a locker room with a bunch of guys changing for hockey, because there aren't really girls lockers. No one cares after the novelty wears off.

My stance is that it is as stupid as most other social progress crap these days. There is no reason to change the status quo of separation here.

Unisex is the word you're looking for OP.

My work is introducing unisex toilets soon too, as they're having to move them (building a new room for toilets). No real stance, though imagine it's going to be a bit awkward for a while, and annoying. Girls tend to squat when they don't wait to sit on "icky seats", and then they make even more mess due to spray... On the flip side, the girls toilets actually get cleaned properly and will be constantly stocked with TP unlike the mens.

I imagine it will mean the removal of urinals, to save space and since... well, I imagine women walking in and being able to see dicks won't go down well.

I don't really care either way. It could stay the same as it is now or it could just be a bathroom that anyone can use, wouldn't mean anything to me.

I am biased against caring though since I am in a wheelchair. I avoid public bathrooms because they are disgusting. People piss and shit and spit all over the floor in them, and I have to touch my wheels with my hands. So fuck that noise.

In addition to gender-specific bathrooms that already exist, sure. Removing those to turn them into unisex? No.

Places that only have 1 are already Unisex, places that have 3 usually have one unisex/handicapped and two gender-specific. Places that have 2 are usually gender separated. I think that's the best solution.

I have no problems with unisex bathrooms. It would probably be more efficient to have one rather than two separate.

If you mean unisex bathrooms, then I see no problems as long as it is divided into individual booths as it may not be the most comfortable situation for men if a woman can just walk in while they are taking a leak at the urinal.

This sounds like a ploy for Women just to have extra bathrooms because they always take so long.

As long as a woman in a stall doesn't get pissy I want a Urinal there I am fine.
