    Yeah I agree.

Agreed. I don't care too much about my AP just because we're not pushing mythic raids right now. But it's really really fun with my guildies. It's the most enjoyable thing in Legion for me.

But if you're using M+ as a reason for just grinding AP, then I can see why people would dislike it.

Some really uninformed people in this thread.

Don't need 54 to raid Mythic unless you're world first? You won't even get past Krosus.

Like 1% of the game's current community will ever bother getting past Krosus, so it's not entirely incorrect that only applies to an extremely small group of players.

Also it's funny, my Frost weapon is like mid forties, my Fire weapon is 54, on Krosus mythic I was told to still play Fire (yes I know about the stamina) even though Frost probably beats Fire on that fight with 35 traits vs 54 on Fire (don't actually quote me on that, haven't simmed it), so now on farm I get to do more damage on the fight than I did on progression because reasons.

I'm 3/4 top position on dps out of 15/16. Most people have been on their raid characters from day 1 grinding ap and have a bucket ton more traits than I do.

Not showing off, but I stay competitive, we're starting to progress nighthold heroic. cleared EN heroic, and personally I've cleared ToV heroic on this character. Exhausting yourself to hit 54 traits is un-needed unless you're going server first mythics.

But still, anyone sitting on 54 traits I think you deserve a pat on the back
true after 35 ive just gathered ap more casualy,im at 46 now i believe on my dk and still do quite well.

M+ is over for me too, the ability to get into M+ runs dried up with NH... so whilst I'd love to do 4 or 5 a week - down to 0 or 1 depending on luck lately.

Challenge Mode : Play WoW like my disability has me play:
You will need two people, Brian MUST use the mouse for movement/looking and John MUST use the keyboard for casting, attacking, healing etc.
Briand and John share the same goal, same intentions - but they can't talk to each other, however they can react to each other's in game activities.
Now see how far Brian and John get in WoW.

Just play a healer where both ilvl and traits mean nothing if you just snipe...
    https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports...6&type=healing (@34 traits, 1legendary lol)

All seriousness though most guilds progressing mythic expect at least 44 traits at this point not just due to the extra damage/healing but the stamina is pretty huge for some of these encounters, obviously if you're only doing norm & heroic it more of a clown car with traits you'll have raiders in there with 54 and also people still below 35, or just hitting 35 on multiple weapons.

Log is obviously a joke I realize how important it actually is, just a fresh reroll toon was only a week and a half old at that point is now 894 with 43traits playing catch up. Just funny how much of a variance you can make up with fight knowledge and when to just blow all your Mana / CDs.

Sometimes I forget how many people only do m+ for AP/legendary farming.

The topic was that Mythic raiders need 54 traits for Krosus. If your team doesn't kill Krosus, you can hardly call yourself a Mythic raider.

That's like the people who claim to be mythic raiders because they went 4/7M in EN. That's a joke, ofc those people wouldn't need to hit trait numbers.

Just hit 50 yesterday. Should finish 54 traits in about 2 weeks (I don't really grind, maybe 7-10 runs on the weekend).
If you just play in your own pace then whatever trait is fine. Progressing however, it's about either (i) Not dragging your raid down or (ii) Want to do everything possible to down the boss.

I dont compare my dps with others in my raid because that's stupid. I compare with the other players who play the same class, have the same gear and legendaries as me.

In any case, I finished the grind on one of my weapons, but I don't think I can manage doing it on another, which I theoretically do need to perform at my best in NH.

The AP grind is too punishing for pures in my opinion.

I completely agree. I can't fathom trying to grind out multiple weapons as a pure dps. It's so much easier to find groups if you can tank or heal. You could be running your own carry groups but still - it's a long grind.

The hell would you want to do that? This is an expansion for specialising.

Specializing isn't very valuable in WoW.

    Don't geddit.

Regardless, legendaries will help your spec decisions.

Wow you guys bullshit a lot. 54 is NOT needed to do mythic raiding. For the past month or two I've only done a few mythic + dungeons and I've barely logged on when I'm not raiding and my logs are fine. Not here to brag, but people demanded proof, so here are my logs. https://www.warcraftlogs.com/ranking...173409/latest/
