Priest or Warlock

Greetings,

I'm about to lvl an alt caster and I'm leaning to Spriest or Affli-/Demolock. I'm a rather casual player and would play mainly random BG and some world PvP. On the Spriest I have more experience but from what I've heard they are kinda underperforming in BGs? I like both playstyles, Priest and Warlock. Has anyone some inside in both classes and has some words of wisdom for me?

Priest is really healer dependent, melee touches you and you get deleted. Warlocks have a lot more survivability but if you want to roll a shitty healer sometimes too choose a priest

A. everyone will just come say their class cause they play it
B. its subjective so our words will do very little to sway your thoughts.

but OT so i dont get infracted for trolling or something, i think you should choose warlock cause affi is insane, drop your dots then drain soul and your dots wont fall off, in 1v1 you cant be beat unless a pally, mage, dk, or rogue knows how to use their shit well to get rid of your dots

Thanks for the input. I will give the Warlock a go then. I can always push the Priest to 110 if need be.

Just like everyone's replies, affli is great fun.

Warlock for solo / 2v2 / pure dps.

Priest for BGs / RBGs / 3s or if you like being a healer.

If you like pets, then go Warlock, simple as that.
I play SP just because i really hate pets.
SP is great for BGs, but sucks 1 vs 1.
Affliction Warlock would destroy SP 1 on 1 without any effort.
SP is more fun. Affliction is rng dependent.

Yea which class should I play threads aren't allowed because it's really a personal preference things and no one can really tell you what you'd enjoy.
