we're seeing that more and more. "Trump could be the best bestiest best and Democrats would still hate him."
*ahem*
Prove it.
Have him succeed for once. Wait for the bile, then point to the bile. This isn't the reality where Hitler cured cancer. This is the reality where an incompetent, racist, sexist, ignorant, bullying populist took office and had a string of objective failures.
Saying "they would hate Trump no matter what" is conjecture. Not only is it unfounded conjecture, we are seeing evidence instead of the opposite: Trump is failing, and he's drawing criticism because he's failing. The GOP are the ones defending his abysmal record with no results. But they're out of options. They're free to cite something good, as soon as it happens.
But if the nation holds its breath waiting, it'll turn blue.

The ACLU and others sue Team Trump, specifically, citing that transferring DoD money to the Wall is illegal.
If -- I have no idea -- if the lawsuit pauses funding, the Wall gets stalled yet again. What are there, two miles? Three?
Obama had to fight tooth and nail to get the emergency response funding for the NONE panedmic ebola, because you know when a D is in charge Rs care about the deficit.
But when trump demanded 2.5 billion for coronovirus, you know what nancy pelosis response was?
She was going to allocate MORE than he requested.
and then don JR runs his fat ugly mouth saying were the ones playing politics? Nancys literally wanting to give him more resources than he even asked for vs when house republicans endlessly tried to stifle obama and even mcconell said his goal was to make obama a 1 term president.
"The first thing that this businessman billionaire did was looked at us & said, 'I hope you're monetizing this.'... This billionaire businessman who happened to be white, I never had a black man come up, Obama didn't come & say, 'I hope you're monetizing.'"
Video in link if you really need to see this.
So monetizing what? Obviously exploitation. Exploitation as in two black women spouting Trump trash and the Trump cult eating it up. Yeah, also they are pawns in two black women, who I guess represent "the Woke". Oh btw they are actually selling "Woke" memorabilia to get favor from black voters.
So yeah, Obama never said this because? Obviously why would he champion this trash. Even, if it was some lefty who exploits political divisiveness to make money should be applauded?
Democrats are the best! I will never ever question a Democrat again. I LOVE the Democrats!
How bad of a week did Trump have? This bad:
CNN blasted by critics for ‘Trump-derangement’ coronavirus coverage on air and online
This is the top headline of FOX News, right now.
Because FOX News has nothing good to say about Trump. Nothing. Even their own poll numbers suck so hard Trump tweeted about them.
Like I said in the Huckabee post, go ahead and post something productive Trump did and see if I spit bile all over it. Good luck finding it this week, though.
Its when crises hit that incompetent administrations get exposed. Bad ones can usually ride out events with propaganda and blame shifting, but when the shit truly hits the fan that's when competent adults have to be in the room to do the work or everything falls apart, and incompetent administrations just don't have enough of those people.
The cracks have always been there, there's just never been enough stress applied to break them apart, well now there is with COVID-19 on the scene.
add to that, medical staff wont be silenced
mark my words, when Pence tries to alter some statement in a way that will risk people's lives, you will see people march out ot the nearest camera, state the following three things
1. what Pence's office said is NOT what I reported
2. This is what I reported (which will wreck any remaining credibility that Pence might have had)
3. Theyll likely resign out of protest, publicly stating with that, that working with the WH will cause more harm than not working with them.
have fun with THAT in an election year
Pompeo was asked point-blank if he thought the coronavirus was a hoax.
He refused to answer.
What a fucking coward. The Secretary of State was afraid to say the coronavirus, which has killed thousands, was not a hoax."Donald Trump's chief of staff Mick Mulvaney told the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) that the coronavirus was the hoax of the day," Lieu said. "Do you agree with Donald Trump's chief of staff Mulvaney that the coronavirus is the hoax of the day?"
"The State Department is doing everything it can to protect American citizens around the world," Pompeo began replying before Lieu interrupted.
"Do you believe coronavirus is a hoax?" Lieu continued.
"I'm not going to comment on what others are saying," Pompeo replied as Lieu continued asking the question. "I'm just telling you what the secretary of state is doing."
"It's not even a gotcha question," Lieu said. "Do you believe the coronavirus is a hoax?"
"It is a gotcha moment," Pompeo said. "It's not useful."
Asked again, Pompeo said: "We're taking it seriously."
I want every single carbon-based life form on these forums to ask themselves: why didn't Pompeo answer?
"Oh, because it was a trap."
Okay, how? In what way does saying "no" create a trap? Explain that part.

*LOUD ANNOYING BUZZER*
He already has. He gagged Dr. Fauci from going on the most popular Sunday talk shows and addressing the public. That's altering a statement.
You're right, by the way. I just love that buzzer.
Thinking about it, if this becomes the global pandemic that it looks like it will be, its going to be a huge boost to Bernie Sanders and his push for medicare for all.
Many aspects of the current social security system only came about because of the great depression and the suffering it caused.
If COVID-19 infects millions upon millions of US citizens then its easy to imagine it similarly pushing a huge chunk of voters towards feverently supporting some sort of national healthcare system, and that pretty much means Sanders and Medicare for all given he's its chief proponent. Imagine for example in a pandemic scenario, all those working stiffs who are suddenly going to end up owing tens to hundreds of thousands in medical bills, as well as all those who don''t catch it but will be absolutely petrified that they might because of the huge costs they'd incur if they did.
If this turns out how I think it will then I think there's a very good chance medicare for all will be unstoppable as well as Sander's campaign. Crises frequently act as an impetus for change. This might be one of those moments.
Trump says he can bring in coronavirus experts quickly. The experts say it is not that simple
The White House official charged with leading the U.S. response to deadly pandemics left nearly two years ago as his global health security team was disbanded. Federal funding for preventing and mitigating the spread of infectious disease has been repeatedly threatened since President Trump’s election.
Despite the mounting threat of a coronavirus outbreak in the United States, Trump said he has no regrets about those actions and that expertise and resources can be quickly ramped up to meet the current needs.
Former federal officials and public-health experts argue that an effective response to a epidemiological crisis demands sustained planning and investment. While the administration’s response to coronavirus has been criticized in recent weeks as slow and disjointed, people in and outside the White House have warned for years that the nation is ill prepared for a dangerous pandemic.
“You build a fire department ahead of time. You don’t wait for a fire,” said Tom Inglesby, director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security. “There is an underappreciation for the amount of time and resources required to build a prepared system.”
I'm inclined to agree.
With so many US voters either uninsured or under-insured, the prospect of a global pandemic is particularly threatening to the US. When a significant percentage of your population can't afford to seek immediate medical attention, they're going to spread it to even more people.
That one shouty guy who's been banging on about a nationalised healthcare system for years will suddenly look very interesting to a lot of people as reality hits home.
Yep, that's a glaring weakness of the current system. Unlike with how other countries do things it acts as a deterrent to seeking medical help, and for something like a highly contagious pandemic you really really want the infected seeking medical help so you can minimize the number of people they spread it to.
The lack of federally mandated paid sick leave also ties into this. How many people are there who work paycheck to paycheck and can't afford to take off a month from work with no pay? You'd want them to stay at home but instead they'll be at work spreading it while trying to hide the fact that they are ill because they need the money.
And again there's that one shouty guy who the mainstream have been ignoring, but who has long been advocating the perfect solution to this.
