The Pentagon’s No. 2 policy official will resign on Friday, adding to a list of vacancies in the building’s top leadership roles.

Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for policy David Trachtenberg is retiring, with a replacement to be named at a “later time,” Pentagon spokesperson Lt. Col. Carla Gleason confirmed to The Hill.

Defense News first reported his departure.

Trachtenberg has been in role since October 2017 and was confirmed in a 70-17 Senate vote.

I think it's safe to say there were several reasons he lost. I think it's also safe to say sticking up for Obama against unfounded racist accusations was not among them.

I can't even begin to imagine Trump mustering up enough moral fiber to do what McCain did. It's such a stark contrast. You could disagree with McCain on some things and I certainly did, but never once did I consider him to be a coward or a conman. I never, ever doubted that he truly cared about the country.

Compare that to Trump who we all know is a narcissist. He flails about from one disaster to the next, starting fires to distract people from the previous fire while hoping everyone forgets everything at the start the next news cycle. He only ever does what's best for himself.

It boggles my mind every day how badly republicans fucked up on this one. If they had nominated Kasich not only would he have won, but he would have gotten the popular vote too. They would have still gotten their tax cuts and all of their conservative judges. We wouldn't have had this dumpster fire of a presidency that already cost republicans the house and will likely cost them the presidency and senate in 2020.

On top of that, the despicable behavior of this administration will cost republicans millions of voters over the next few generations. I also believe it will steer millions more people away from christianity given how many Trump supporters claim to be christian all the while doing the exact opposite of what Jesus taught. Older folks are too far set in their ways, but younger people are going to see this hypocrisy and think twice.

For those out of loop though, a two guys kept harassing Rocky and his group in Sweden. The guys kept pressing the group until enough become enough and fist flew. Everyone moved on. Rocky is picked up by the Swedish police. He has been held all month for something he would have spent a night in jail for over here, charges probably dropped especially due to the video. Prosecutors in Sweden has repeatedly denied any sort of release. He is locking at July 25th before anything moves because 'they need more time to investigate'.

Again, my point is the hypocrite Trump, who cons his people to hate the Hollywood elite, are the people he loves and wants to be the most. More importantly it is about The Con of having his people hate the Celebs.

As you see a celeb can easily influence this narcissistic dope. The few horrible times I had to go to Trump's twitter feed to confirm a tweet, he has a tweet pinned of Jon Voight, an American Actor praising him. Hmm? Oh yeah I get it, you are not a Hollywood elite I guess if you kiss his ass.
