    Our Ruling

Trump said that with voting by mail, "you get thousands and thousands of people sitting in somebody's living room, signing ballots all over the place."

Voting fraud in general is considered to be rare, although voting experts agree that the risks are greater for mail balloting than for in-person voting. Still, Trump didn’t produce any evidence for the "thousands and thousands" claim, and voting experts said his assertion doesn’t square with what is known about the actual cases of voting fraud in the recent past.

    We rate the statement False.
We have seen some absentee ballots get abused. Such as the North Caroina Republican election fraud, and uh...I think that's it. The charges involve people illegally collecting the ballots -- they were not mailed. See, the problem with faking a mailed ballot, is you have to hope the real ballot doesn't show up. Or I guess you could attempt to destroy the USPS or something.

Well Trump supporters you know the deal. Trump said there were thousands and thousands of people doing this. Thousands sounds like it would be very easy to find evidence of such, so you have 24 hours to find...let's say...ten. Yeah, ten sounds good.

Failure to find ten is evidence that Trump lied.

Failure to look for ten is evidence you know Trump lied. In other words, cowardice.

We know this is a lie, because otherwise states couldn't lock down without his permission, either. Which they did not ask for or wait for. Except Florida.

    They shouldn’t worry though!

Capitalism will always have a replacement company take the dead ones place.

It’s natural cycle of life like the way of small business. Always a replacement.

White House directly issues a statement that Trump is not firing Fauci, and that would be ridiculous.

Naturally, everyone read over the last three years of "things Trump does" and "things Team Trump says Trump won't do" and just ignores the White House statement.

Oh, I'm not saying Trump will fire Fauci. Or that he won't. I am saying, the White House is kidding themselves when they say "Trump won't do XXX because it's ridiculous".

I dunno if the Dem establishment Pelosi is listening, but ...
We need Benghazi-like hearings about Trump’s early handling of COVID-19.
He needs to be spending the summer and fall on the defensive about his failures or he’ll spend it gaslighting voters.

Damn that pretty much means he's going to be fired based on the pattern over the last 3 years.

Not directly related to absentee ballots, but don't forget the election fraud in Florida. Because Florida.

And here comes Record #122..... (and 112 of them are bad records to have)

    https://finance.yahoo.com/news/u-bud...174547058.html

U.S. budget watchdog group projects $3.8 trillion deficit for 2020

A steep economic downturn and massive coronavirus rescue spending will nearly quadruple the fiscal 2020 U.S. budget deficit to a record $3.8 trillion, a staggering 18.7% of U.S. economic output, a Washington budget watchdog group said on Monday.

Releasing new budget estimates based on spending mandated by law, the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget (CRFB) also projected that the fiscal 2021 deficit would reach a 2.1 trillion in 2021, and average $1.3 trillion through 2025 as the economy recovers from damage caused by coronavirus shutdowns.

    Would easily pass Obama.....

    Those are some bigly numbers.

I'm sure the Tea Party and Freedom Caucus will be out in the streets to protest any day now.

Soon enough they can start voting as well, and it will probably be that each corporations vote counts for as many people it has employed even if those employees vote as well.

Also, when will the Temple of Dollar Green be open for all these money worshippers?

I am not sure how to read this chart, but I am pretty sure both are about equally valid.
Either A) The Y-axis is misconstrued as if the 4 deaths of Benghazi is more deaths compared to any of the others or
    B) The Y-axis is the amount of time used to look into each of these cases, because lets be honest, if the Republicans could, they would STILL be investigating Benghazi

He's pretty unhappy that they haven't talked about the risk the economy -

I'm not sure when the economy started having a pulse, but those darned doctors and their focus on keeping people safe and healthy aren't thinking about the damage they're doing to the economy!
unless they have mastered necromancy risk to people IS risk to the economy.

Well...I mean, it's like this. We knew the federal government was stepping in with lots of cash, and I'm all "well, that's kind of their job to protect people, right?"

And yes, at some point, that's going to be a big problem. No question.

But I remain less worried about the $2 trillion jump caused by the coronavirus, than I am about the $1 trillion jump caused by the tax cut for the rich. Not that we'd ever have done this, but, if the money lost due to the tax cut for the rich was saved up instead of given to the rich, the other $2 trillion would be mostly eaten by it. It's unrealistic to say it would have happened, but that's how the numbers compare.

Oh, and the businesses themselves didn't seem to put that money aside, either.

Well there are actually several cases that have been discovered since 2016, but they all seem to be exclusively Republican. Here's 4 from the 2016 election alone.

    Also, Colorado...again, Republican.

And Ohio. You know the drill.

I guess Democrats are just much better at hiding their election fraud...? (Trump logic 101.)

I've been wondering if/when we will get investigations into this Trump led disaster, but the problem I always foresee is that Trump will refuse to cooperate. They will ignore subpoena's and demands for evidence just like they've done for everything else.

Bad news for Trump, Americans are turning on him.

He no longer has majority, or even plurality, support for his handling of the coronavirus. Approval for that dropped to 45%.

Disapproval for his handling of the coronavirus over time seems to be dipping, with a new plurality disapproving of his handling, 49%. Getting close to majority disapproval.

And Santorum is out there, completely and totally unable to support Trumps, "I can do whatever I want because I am the federal government and I say so." approach to "opening the country back up", confirms that yes, it's up to governors.

But Trump can "set the tone", for whatever the fuck that even means anymore.
