Even if reforged was just a texture update, they'd have to remodel things so it doesn't look like god damn Porygon.

I have to say though, you can do quite a bit with textures just to get the look across. Keep in mind that SC:R looks pretty darn good, and it's all rendered sprites.

I've seen some really good stuff that artists have made on Hive with very low poly limits like the originals too. Here's some of Traggey's work

As i said above, theyll change the story to emphasize Jaina AND Sylvanas. Dont forget that while Jaina is Goldens insert, Sylvanas is Danusers waifu. Theyll lay the groundwork for making her Kerrigan here. Plus i expect Nathanos Bitchcaller, danusers self insert, to appear.

These are miles better than the rubbish we have so far. I'm hoping some of the absolute wizards at Hive will fix the reforged ones eventually, or I might have to learn how to model beyond making small edits. As if my map project backlog wasn't enormous enough. Gah.

I recall seeing some WoW-quality models on Hive. Never had the chance to use them myself though, as I don't have enough knowledge in developing triggers and crap like that, or have the imagination to do something good.

I feel like Reforged could be huge for the map developing community if it doesn't impose any limits on the world editor or in model editing. I am more hyped for that than for the regular game itself. I can't wait to see what the skilled map makers will do with this.
