[Theory] Undead allied race

Seeing Sylvanas went completely bonkers but also concerned about undead race survival heroes plead the Lich King to help to get rid of her while granting eternal life to the undead with his unholy power. That leads to Sylvanas being gone and Lich King taking her place as undead faction leader but also brings allied race of undead sailormen (killed and turned undead by Arthas in notrhrend) looking like Kul Tirans but undead.


What are your thoughts?

Not like red dragons or paladins love Sylvanas and what she does to Azeroth more than Lich King. It's not about best solution, it's about improvement of situation. Best solution is obviously to eradicate any scourge leftovers including forsaken of course

Sylvanas didn't kill red dragons for shits and giggles and to use as servant mounts, not did she try to raise Tirion Fordring to lead other death knights right under Light's Hope chapel. Wasn't the LK directly, but he is still that faction's leader.

And trust me, I despise Sylvanas and would rather not defend her.

I cant see Bolvar wanting to join the horde or rule the forsaken, even with the Lich Kings Corruption, not to mention, why would he? The Lich King is a powerful "immortal" being, why would he be concerned with leading the Forsaken, a group that has defied his control, surely he would rather burn them all then lead them.

Plus it sounds like a horrendous attempt to shoe horn the Kul Tiras model into the horde, and that's just a no.

I don't care what they do. My ideal Undead AR would be:
1. Full bodied with no joints showing
or
2. Full Skeleton with no flesh showing

It's all I want. Mostly the Skele-warrior option. But it's all I want.

I may be wrong because don't remember every detail of that, but wasn't it protagonist's and other death knights' decision to raise Fordring? Lich king said he needs four horsemen, but he didn't specify

The Lich King wanted Tirion, he tells the player to resurrect him as the fourth horseman. Darion and the other DK`s don't agree with it, but choose to follow the player as he is the Deathlord.

"The Lich King demands too much! Tirion Fordring deserves more than a life of anguish and undeath!"

True, I semi-corrected in an edit. LK didn't directly try to raise them/Tirion, the player did, but I rarely count the player because they tend to just be 'nondescript hero of x faction/banner', he wanted the 4 horsemen back in charge, he represents the will of the DK's, they went aafter Tirion. At Light's Hope. The paladin HQ.

In short, they ain't happy about the LK or the DK's at all.

That's just how undead already are in China

Meant more so healthy full bodied forms like Nathanos/Dark Rangers. I don't like the dilapidated models we already have. I know people say it cost Sylvanas a lot to make Nathanos, but she also pulled several new Valkyr out of her ass and tanked a whisp wall so...

Finding an alternative way to make fully formed zombies isn't much of a stretch considering everything else in the game. I just want a cool model for undead

Sanlayn, Dark Rangers, lightforged undead.

I believe these are the most probable to become playable, either as race or hero class

My bets are its going to either be a vampiric undead (san'layn) or just a basic undead elf. Another choice is the Nathanos-esq undead, but I highly doubt that just because it would be silly for the Horde to get the Alliance's most popular model.

Give us chinese undead and let us put Calia in the ground. The last thing we need after the leaders don't look like player Forsaken is the player Forsaken not looking like player Forsaken by giving us the legion Nathanos model.

Also, story-wise, the Lich King being in charge of the Forsaken is the one thing arguably equivalent to Calia being in charge in terms of completely bending this race over a barrel.

I wouldn't be surprised if (while using the same rigging) the model itself would be quite diffrent (not just another skin on same model like void elves).

It's not just about race, but also about survival of race without sylvanas' mighty presence. The choices are few, it's either Lich King and his Void power or Calia and her Light power. But imbuing current undead with light will have no sense allied race-wise since it just replaces one race with another, rather than add new allied race
