I'm not one to usually comment on sensitive subjects like this but taking away porn or censoring it in the US would ultimately do a lot more harm than good.
Porn is used as an outlet for people to carry out fantasies in a safe non-destructive way. There are millions of people every day who watch porn and use it as a distraction; just imagine if porn was illegal or censored to a degree which tempted people to go out and harm others to get there fix. Every teenage boy would be trying to stick it into every girl who walked in front of them.
Yes you could argue watching porn makes people want to have sex even more and to that I agree to some extent however these cases are few and far between in terms of seeking it out in a harmful manner.
Believe me, you want people watching porn.

Porn improving/evolving is a natural course of an industry, I'm not denying that porn is effective I'm saying that it's not objectively more effective just because it has evolved, and I'm also saying it's not objectively more effective than other forms of stimulation. There are plenty of people who prefer to look at a dirty photo than a dirty video. I know people who get more turned on looking at clothed photos than anything else because their imagination runs wild.
Which comes to the core of it, is it more rewarding (if you can even use that term in this context, I don't think you can) for someone to imagine having sex with their crush than it is to watch porn? I think yes, and I'm not the only one... That makes this whole topic very subjective and personal, which your point of view pretty much denies because you have some skewed view on how people view or react to porn on the whole.

Are you too slow to realize the hormonal, mental and physical changes a human being goes through when they hit puberty? It's fucking mess and beating ya meat like it owes you money is not even the worse thing about it. Teens are going to find a why of dealing with that sexual tension one way or another and porn is not worst as teens fucking. Are you telling me you never beat your shit as a teen or got horny?

Why is it a natural course of an industry, and why are more people watching it now than ever? For the people into it, greater levels of stimulation is what they wanted (at least, their neurochemistry told them), and the industry responded. They used to just look at pinups, now they're into something more stimulating.
It's great you know people who feel this way, it really is nice they exist. This anecdote does not hold up against the greater population. It does not contradict the point that porn has an effect on people - calling them addicts is irrelev
You're limiting your considerations to people you know that enjoy thinking about having sex with their crush more than watching porn in order to prove porn has no effect on people (there's some circularity involved here). I'd say the overt behavior of watching porn (millions of views, and imagine the bandwidth) trumps this.Which comes to the core of it, is it more rewarding for someone to imagine having sex with their crush than it is to watch porn? I think yes, and then is that a bad thing if it means they masturbate while thinking about their crush instead of pursuing that person and possibly having sex (or being rejected?)... That's no different to the situation with porn, the actual core of any problem if there is one (casting aside literal porn addicts) is that sex didn't take place.
The central point you're making is that you know people who get aroused by thinking of a crush more than watching porn, and that therefore porn does not have an affect on people. This isn't a valid conclusion.
Don't really disagree with this. But sex not taking place isn't necessarily a bad thing, the world is overpopulated as fuck and people are having kids older because they are focussing on their careers instead of having a kid at 17 years old, there is a balance to this.

It's interesting to see that the urge to ruin others' happiness remains vibrant and strong in the fundamentalist psyche.
Porn is bad in the same sense chocolate is bad.

I really can't see anything wrong with watching porn over the age of 15.
normal porn is fine.
just gotta tell your kid the porn where the girl gets pee'd on and is getting railed but what looks like an erector set with a dildo fashioned onto it that that's not normal sex.
also have to tell them that not all girls have a perfect 10 body and not all guys a have 8+ inch dick.
most porn is a fantasy, just like those avengers movies, star wars, matrix, etc...
No sense crying over spilt beer, unless you're drunk...

For a horny teenager, anything with some skin is viable porn. With the power of the internet, anything can become porn. Anything can be porn! I would leave it alone and hope they don't want Sonic Movie porn.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with pornography or sex. It's part of our primal nature, and we shouldn't get rid of it but embrace it. Instead of forbidding an inner core part of our being we should educate the youth that it is a natural thing nobody should be ashamed of. I bet if sex lost all the taboo it's got (mostly due to religions and their instruments to mass control people through fear to death) young people wouldn't be so interested in it so early and they'd have better sexual lives in their adulthood (no fear, no regrets, no weird philias...)

Fallacious implication that sex is primarily for procreation.
I'll never understand this "fetish". Fish stink.
Fallacious implication that sex is primarily for procreation #2.
Seriously, take your idiotic faux morality somewhere else. The adults are talking.
Short answer; No
Long answer; No
If you are so worried about the effects of porn on your children or others, education is ALWAYS better than restriction.
