Midsummer Fire Festival is live once again and runs June 21st through July 5th.

This year there have been some changes:

• Ahune now drops ilvl 365 loot.
• New bonfires have been added to Zandalar and Kul Tiras.

  • Flame Keeper Zandalar
  • Flame Warden of Kul Tiras
• Battle-Hardened Heirloom Armor Casing - Sold for 600 Burning Blossom
• Fire Eater's Hearthstone - Sold for 300 Burning Blossom

Now is also a great time to take advantage of the hour-long 10% experience buff from Ribbon Dance. Visit any Midsummer Festival tent and /dance around the poll to acquire the buff.


Essences Feedback - Healer Essences

Some tuning tweaks that will be on PTR soon, noting here because they’ll be coming in as PTR hotfixes at this point:

• Artifice of Time, Minor: Haste/Speed bonus increased 13%
• Ever-Rising Tide, Minor: Int bonus increased 20%
• Ever-Rising Tide, Major: Duration (both active duration, and bonus duration) reduced to 8 seconds
• Life-Binder’s Invocation, Major: Cooldown reduced to 2.5 minutes
• Vitality Conduit, All: Transfer amount increased 15%
• Vitality Conduit, Minor: Proc rate increased 25%
• Vitality Conduit, Minor Rank 3: Absorb value increased 38%
• Lucid Dreams, Minor: Proc rate for mana users reduced 20%

Essences Feedback - Multiple Role Essences

Some additional hotfix balance changes have been made for a few Essences:

Crucible of Flame

• Minor effect rank 1 damage and healing values increased by 35%.
• Minor effect rank 1 proc chance increased for all healer roles.

Vision of Perfection

• Major effect proc chance reduced for Holy Paladin.

I never really understand why they're so stingy with festival loot nowadays. 365 is irrelevant even now. By Tue it will be utterly, utterly useless as everyone and their alts will be wearing 385.

I was going to argue, but I think you're right...they could do far better with their budget. There should be unique, otherwise-obtainable toys / pets / mounts / whatevers on holidays, and they should be permanently removed, imo. So I guess no one is really happy, after all.

Essences is going to fail so hard hiding skills behind barriers is not the way to go. I can see it now you do not have the PvP Essences we will not take you into this Mytic+ because you cant do what that skill can do. same as people that will not take others because they do not have the gear but want to get the gear but they only want geared people.

Whelp, I know I don't need to bother with Ahune for another year. Remember when those cloaks were actually a big upgrade for casuals? I'm a huge casual (don't even do dungeons), and none of my toons can benefit. These are worse than WQ rewards.

Exactly, even with the world quest items being bumped up on ilvl, this is really a weird choice by Blizzard.
