Blizzard last few weeks without Alpha:
Week 1: "Account wide essences!" (sorta kinda, I know)
Week 2: "100 XP buff!"
Week 3: "Legacy loot rules for Legion content!"

Guys, are we sure we couldn't wait for Alpha few more weeks? Who knows what they come up with.

That felt more like an actual hotfix for an actual issue in the game, in this case being that those 2 rares are only available 3 and a half days every 2 weeks.



But other than that the cahgnes we have gotten to essences, as well as the XP buff and now legacy loot rules in Legion content is starting to reach a similar amount to what one might find in a small patch. All we need now is a questline and we are golden.

There are a lot of people enjoying Horrific Visions, I hope they can follow up on it. I think it could be a massive success.

Honestly it looks like it all happened at same time as everyone was getting sent to work from home. As in when it was known it wouldn't be on 1st seems like same time they were prepping to get their home sheit set up. So maybe just delays.

Either the new build is not as stable as they were hoping or he is trolling us so when the first comes and blizzard posts that the expansion is canceled and then alpha drops he’ll be in on the joke

Visions, too. I actually find it easier to run them solo, groups generally mean having to wait for somebody and mobs scale rather quickly. Not just on health, either. Having the caster faceless drop two orbs on you in a 5-man run might very well require a rez.

I honestly just want asmon to stream wow so i can play the game because the way he plays makes it easier for me to play it, otherwise it feels like drowning in sand. (retail)

Week 7: 8.3.5 announced with new ARs, Horde gets ogres and Alliance gets dark-skinned gnomes.


That being said, i feel like the amount of convenience being added by a simple hotfix is quite limited. Not sure what else could possibly be added outside simple quests with no voicelines, or simple NPCs for flavor in various cities.
