There's a quote I'll paraphrase that I loved from a Big Finish Doctor Who audio play:
"Does the butterfly exist that beats its wings to cause the hurricane somewhere else? No, they just tell the butterflies that to keep them happy. However, over the millions of years, with the billions of butterflies - they have to have effected the weather somewhow..."
But really those butterflies should flap their wings to bring the stink onto Apple banning the HKLive app (whatever the name was) rather than Blizzard banning a player
And yes that is whataboutism
But the difference is that banning the app has security implications (to some extent) for protesters where the banned hearthstone player does not
But it is probably easier to protest against a game company one already probably does not give money than not getting to buy an overpriced shiny iPhone
I'm kinda surprised I'm the first to mention this here, but....
Apparently Blizzard just canceled their overwatch launch party at the Nintendo store tomorrow night with no explanation given.

As suggested in the article, it couldn't have ANYTHING to do with the protest that was going to happen at the launch party? Naaaaaaah!

Stream with a blizz employee. I wonder what he will say.
It would be so awesome if everyone went to Blizzcon wearing pooh shirts and the whole cosplay contest was all pooh costumes. Winner would be a pooh with a garrote around the neck.
Heh...guy got disconected from stream:
Edit.. for those that didnt see a stream, it was a guy from blizzard that did art of succubus.

I think this was mentioned yesterday but was quickly glossed over.
Now they're having 3rd parties relaying messages about their product instead of doing it themselves. That's how scared they are to go out.
And considering hold long it takes to set up events like this... yikse.
Edit: Oh and speak of the devil, Heel just posted his bit on that.

The title is grossly misleading, he got suspended for violating rules, fucking stupid to get on a soap box at any gaming tournament regardless of what the context of your politics are.
