None, if it dies it dies.
I’m so glad blizz is in charge and not the community... as much as some of these ideas are... well lets say common things wow players have WANTED for like idk 10 years, the fact that people want the game to be dogshit should scare you..
If you want to kill the game, just say so.. no reason to post it on mmo-c as “good changes”
Invasion of the Lightbound expansion. Yrel comes invading, and we eventually defeat her, but her forces retreat to Draenor. We pursue them there with help from allies in Outland. In the end we get the Shattrath raid and the final boss is an AU Xe'ra.
Also an expansion where Murozond is revealed to be alive, goes back in time and helps Lei Shen conquer the world. This Azeroth would be unsundered, and many known characters would be dead or heavily altered. In time Lei Shen consumes that Azeroth (he grows power hungry) and plans to invade us to consume our Azeroth. Except...she finally wakes up!
After that (in a following xpac), with Azeroth fully awake, the Void Lords make one last attempt on us (too late to assimilate the world soul, so they'll eradicate it instead). This time, towards the end of the xpac, we take the fight to them.
most of the things we have recently are emergency for "wow dying" thing, like Legion was a completely fanservice expansion giving players iconic weapons and facing iconic villains like the legion, and bringing back fan characters like illidan, a edgelord heroclass etc, i expect similar things
Shadowlands also have a lot of fanservice with solo content, more mounts, customization, nostalgia
wow already died dont you know
look at all of the people playying
wahammer,rift, swtor and wildstar
Kappa
I don't care about Wow 11.0, if it's not solo-MMO. No half-measures - just perfect xpack.
Unlimited level cap with micro transactions to increase xp hour, gotta continue milking this bad boy till its dead.
I'd cut and paste the Wildstar Housing Model, and throw decor into the cash shop. Housing and RPers kept Wildstar alive 2 years after everyone else left.

Serious Answer
- Player housing
- Guild housing (after or as an enhancement to the former)
- Rip FF14 crafting and implement that kind of crafting experience.
- More solo content (dungeons and raids with npcs, solo pvp queue, etc)
- Player housing
- also player housing.
- Cinematic storytelling for every single quest. Rip the Story telling experience right off of swtor. Voiced characters, quests, etc.
lol answer
- Create pristine servers for every single expansion early, mid, and end patch states. Let players play on all of them with one sub. Have some tea.
- Release "server kits" and rent server space. Basically let players pay to host their own server instances of the game with their own rulesets.
They already did it and it was called Legion and Classic WoW, 2 very successful subscriber recovering devices, later attempted to badly replicate with BFA.
Or they would bring back a lot of OTHER dead lore characters somehow... Oh wait
This one right here.
I think Blizzard has this hard on for content in the game to only be relevant for the time that the expansion is relevant. They seem to refuse to make solo content that is entirely cosmetic. Hell, they even turned PET COLLECTING INTO A BATTLE SYSTEM. So I think they would flood the game with as much evergreen content as possible.
So lets say something as simple as ‘PVP Vendors’ right, and look as someone who USED to pvp strictly because of the vendors and having a goal you can obtain such as bis etc, this was a feature I enjoyed heavily until it was basically removed in Legion - I get blizzards dynamic: lets do it different, as in lets make it something that’s just automatic while pvping gear drops from wins etc (in arena and bg’s). The issue is that you can’t target specific gear, and the obvious titanforge/corruption stuff going on adds to the roughness.
My point is that when someone trys to add something to the game, the lore ideas are all awesome, but the changes that people want because they like classic wow isn’t how the game functions anymore in retail. Not all of us have assmongold amounts of time to farm one single piece of gear, sure that’s awesome - he gets paid 200,000$ a month to play wow, but lets be honest.. I love the game but I’m only going to play MAX a few hours a day, I don’t have the time I used to have back in 2005-2009
I would say I'd change the themes and direction of the writing.
