I want to have a GOOD non-reward driven reason to spend more time in the game. Chasing a fucking carrot on a stick is my literal least favorite part of any and every game. Give me more story, make the domains themselves more fun with more varied enemies, more mechanics (like the boss fights) etc. Stop making me grind the most boring content just so I can get BIS. Skill > time-investment as a means of getting good rewards.

I promise, I'll keep coming back every event and every story drop Mihoyo. You don't need to death grip me like I'm some fucking adhd sped who will drop you and forget about you if I don't log in every day. I'm much more likely to get fed up, burn out, and quit for good out of spite (which I've done for every such game to-date, wow included).

If there's anything that needs to be automated, it's the daily commission because they require no effort so might as well just automate it. I don't get this mindset that it's ok to automate the one part of the game that has actual combat, but it's fine to leave the mindless daily chores out of it.

You can absolutely clear spiral abyss with shitty artfifacts, but it will make it much more difficult (but in a bad way imo, but that's a different story). I don't understand this fascination with artifact grinding either, must be a wow thing. It's literally just another form of content. If you hate the grind aspect of it, you can just get a set pc with the good main stat and fuck the substats, and that's enough to full clear spiral abyss quite easily. Getting a set with just main stats is not that rare.

That being said, the game does need more fun content. It's why I'm just gearing up alts cuz Spiral Abyss is about as fun as watching paint dry.

My whole life philosophy is "be better than other people, get better rewards." Casinos fly in the face of that and it pisses me off. Again, I wouldn't have given this game the time of day if it wasn't for my wife and friends... but that ship has sailed and here we are. Now INEED to have the best diluc possible so I can ego stroke to 300k birbs. 300k birbs not being "needed" to beat something doesn't mean shit to me. I know it's possible to be that powerful, so I will strive to be that powerful.

I mean, you do you but this game is really not the right one for you. Idk why you keep playing it. Nothing would change if they took out the rng because this game doesn't have any skill requirement tbh. You'd get a maxed out Diluc in a day, then what?

Think of RNG as anti-conception, then, it may help make the struggle for BiS build more bearable.

Am I the only one that spends a considerable amount of time just evaluating what I want to upgrade each day? I feel like I'm spending more time doing that than actually playing the game. I log in and I'm like.. okay.. it's tuesday... What's available? What characters/weapons/books are priority etc and I just scroll through all my characters I play to see what materials each ones need. All said and done I end up logged in for like 40 minutes after figuring out what I actually want to do, doing the commisions, and then spending my resin. I also have to check to see if I could just convert lower quality materials instead of wasting resin on getting more.

Got the Skyward Harp with my free character upgrade rolls

I'm pretty happy about it because that weapon is pretty nuts (max base atk + cirt rate substat + 20% critdmg) and I heard Fischl's Oz can proc the damage proc out of field.
Since I'm looking for Ganyu (if the stars align) it's even better.

If you don't know where to go with your money, just buy the gems. At least every "double-bonus" thing first before you start buying non bonus stuff again. But that's big spender territory.

Got Aquila with the free rolls. Not super thrilled, but also since I got Bennett from the Albedo banner I guess it's actually really appropriate timing.
