My most requested feature isn't housing, a new class, or allied races.

It's a new bloody UI for the character selection (login) screen.

I'm borderline OCD probably and have an army of 50 characters I spend way, way too much time organising in different ways. Only problem is, all we get is a long and boring list. I basically change my preference every other week and have to rearrange it, and I can never decide which my mains and my main alts are.

What I'd like is a new UI based on the character creation UI they updated in Shadowlands.

Preferably a number of clean looking icons/portraits, and not a bunch of text strings for class, location, etc.

Then I'd like a number of filters, both premade and customisable ones. I want to be able to filter my roster based on things like faction, race, class, professions, and so on. But also things that matter to me, like which characters I designate as my "main crafters" of the various professions, "main alts", "main bankers" for different purposes, and so on.

Then obviously custom character poses so my army can look COOL. Right now every character looks like a dork. It just stands there with a weapon unsheathed. Hunters look weird because their pets are just tiny little creatures standing beside them, so if you spin your character the weapon can actually show behind the pet in the distance. And it bugs the hell out of me that some classes have custom sizes, and that most of them have different backgrounds.

Honestly what I'd like is for them to let us MOD the character selection screen.

I would rather take any "yesman" content creators who are positive and love the game and point out valid problems over any toxic assholes who tell others to spit on peoples who have storemounts, but each to their own I guess.

On the page they casually mentioned a 10.0 Collector's Edition as a prize. Just a nice little factoid I guess.

Ehm no, most of the bad things happened in the game was because the "old guard" under Afrasiabi didn't listen to feedback at all.

God that Legion announcement is so gringe in hindsight. The video for 9.2. was fine but just way too light on content. But I liked that they used lots of different people to showcase the new stuff!

I don't think any of the written leaks so far have been real, but the Dragonflight name and poster definitely are. Kinda hoping they change the logo though because it doesn't look too great.

Yeah I don't think so either tbh. Shamans aren't elementals, their power is gifted and channeled through their bodies by the elements. I think a dragon themed class would be the same. Power gifted by dragons.

Since we are on the subject of UI tweek requests. I want my UI to be more fantasy. A weird request I know. But for me the UI is more immersive in a fantasy game if it gives up more fantasy vibes. The best one was probably in Dragon Age: Origins. Give me scrolls of parchments and books as windows. Give me the sound of paper when I open a menu. Yes, the layout also needs some work and we need a controller optimized version for an eventual console release.
But I want my fantasy UI theme.

Blizzard has been consistently moving away from this, so I wouldn't expect it from them anytime soon.

A Dragon Race wouldn't be able to be a Dragon Knight because they can't use powers of the other flights, for example a Green Dragon can't breathe fire or a Black Dragon restore life.
Just like it wouldn't make sense for a dragon race to join a covenant of a different color. Same goes for a Dragon Knight double dipping on Dragon powers.

This can be solved by making the new player race chromatic dragons. It's canon, could be a cool story development, and gives players more options instead of less.
