My main issues with Cyberpunk is the dumb AI and that 99% of choices you make just don't matter. Besides that, it's a great game, minor bugs don't bother me that much.

FO76 was a disaster at launch and looked like crap, and I believe keeps on delivering disasters.

The results to the poll are baffling. The question isn’t “which game is more broken?” In terms of disappointment, it has to be 2077. The game was literally being hyped as GOTY and has been highly anticipated for years and was arguably the biggest game on the launch calendar this year(to the point that fan discussions around Shadowlands launch dates involved delaying to avoid it). I don’t remember anyone having high expectations for 76, let alone the idea that it would be GOTY. 2077 is, as of right now, undoubtably one of the biggest letdowns we’ve seen in a very long time.

The thing is, CP2077 is now playable on all platforms, from start to finish, is a complete story/game, and is actually fun to play.

Sure, the game was a disappointment at launch for some, but now? The game is playable and is actually a pretty good game. I’ve already beat the entire game and thought it was good. Cant say the same for FO76, even a year after it’s launch.

I think the game is really good, and having watched videos like Dunkey's, I cannot at all relate on the bugginess. I've only had a few bugs show up and none of them have been significant, just T posing characters and stuff like that. I've played about 120 hours so far. There's a lot of stuff that would add a lot more flavor I wish they actually put in like the daily cycles for every NPC, but in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't really affect my gameplay experience.
Only 36% of the players on Steam have the achievement for completing the story, which isn't that much. I've only got 16 of 44 achievements as well, there's not a huge amount but getting them all is going to be time consuming.

The only people that believe that Cyberpunk 2077 is equivalent to Fallout 76 are console gamers. The game is much more playable on PC. Also Fallout 76 is 2 years old, so is it fair to compare it to Cyberpunk? Might as well add Daikatana to the list, and Duke Nukem Forever. CyberPunk is mostly a PC game that had a bad port to consoles. I'm guessing console owners haven't experience a bad PC port in a while, because those used to be common. You know how many bad Doom ports there was for consoles? Don't look at Doom on the 3DO, but the sound track was nice though. Don't think CDPR is alone in these bad console ports, because good chance that Sony and Microsoft were pushing them to release the games before it was ready for console. They should have released the game on PC first and then later on release it for consoles when the bugs were fixed. The game is great though, unlike Fallout 76 which will never be a good game no matter how many bugs are fixed.

A lot of people like to pretend as if the main problem is that it runs poorly on consoles and is very buggy. They're major issues, yes - but the game's creators removed content and straight up lied about the inclusion of key features and the extent at which they would come into play. Right up until the game launched, in fact.
So did fallout 76 but worse...

Most people didn't hype themselves into a lather, so a few bugs aren't going to disappoint them that badly. Not defending cdpr, especially for the console release, but the complaints about gameplay elements (not bugs) are mostly people who expected entirely too much.

Most of the disappointment with CP2077 is due to over-hype. All of the disappointment with F076 was because the game's a piece of shit.

I can't really fathom anyone being hyped for either game.

Both revealed themselves to be so fucking bland and boring as soon as they showed any gameplay.

Finally, both studios have or had to face PR nightmares. Fallout 76 with the whole bag fiasco, CD Projekt Red trying to prevent refunds and prevent Sony from removing the game from the store.

You could argue that Cyberpunk 2077 does at least have a real story unlike Fallout 76, and a pretty good cast. But Cyberpunk 2077 was also hyped up even more, and because of how open Fallout 76's beta was, a lot of people sort of knew that the game would bomb out on launch.

So with all of this considered, which game do you think is a bigger dissapointment?
I did not expect much from fallout 76 so it was an allright game. CP2077 was soooo overhyped by the community and the developer... ia am sorry... it is beautifull but the story is mediocer and gameplay not that... inovative... my bugs have not been that bad. but well i play on pc.

Wow, what a hipster hater edge lord you are.

Like, if the game isn’t personally for you, that’s fine. But to declare that CP2077 is bland and boring is about as idiotic/untruthful as it comes.

And it’s also ironic that you’re claiming this stuff on a site dedicated to WoW. Just....fucking lol.
