Moving to Mos Espa is the Tattooine equivalent.

Moving to Coruscant is probably a step too far in difficulty, it'd be harder than going from some rural European shit hole to New York.

It's very easy to move to Coruscant, or Nar Shadda, or any other hipster place. It's a big galaxy. It's so simple even Pikes are using spaceliners.
All right, gentleperchildren, let's review. The year is 2024 - that's two-zero-two-four, as in the 21st Century's perfect vision - and I am sorry to say the world has become a pussy-whipped, Brady Bunch version of itself, run by a bunch of still-masked clots ridden infertile senile sissies who want the Last Ukrainian to die so they can get on with the War on China, with some middle-eastern genocide on the side

I'll tell you what, that cleanliness you're talking about seems to be an issue in the show, and was there a bit in the Mandalorian too. In this. the cantina is super clean, Boba's armour even looks like it's just come fresh out of the smelting room and is regularly polished. There's a general lack of grime in the show, which is tonally inconsistent with how the films (not 7/8/9) were. If the cyborgs all just had more grime over their mods, and you could see them needing to keep the mods clean, it would feel less jarring. Very odd design decisions. Otherwise the 'mod culture' seems fine.

I think they could fit on Tatooine, but the issue is that they made them so clean in comparison to everything else. They stand out too much.

Like I can believe a cyborg swoop gang is on Tatooine. I can believe a cyborg implant "chop shop" is on Tatooine.
I just can't believe it is this gang and this shop.

Like I said above, it's an extremely production design decision for the show on the whole because everything is so polished.

But it's not 'woke'. People just think anything non-white/non-conservatve stuff is 'woke'. Which is an indictment of how backward their thinking is.

They are too clean in comparison to everything else around them. Everyone else, even people financially better off, are dirtier than they are.
It is an odd design choice they made.

They stand out compared to everything else. Minor changes and they fit in better. So I don't know why they made the choices they did.

They had the credits to mod themselves. Are you saying they are dumb af? I also don't believe that the ticket costs more than a shiny hoverbike.

In fact, we had Luke and Obi-wan going to Alderaan for the price of a piece of shit hovercar and Han was hustling them during the Empire days.

Everything in the show seems super clean and polished tbh. Considering they're living on a desert planet, there's no erosion anywhere.

The issue is they are stealing water ... so what are they cleaning themselves and their bikes with? Are they stealing that too? They are too clean to be poor on Tatooine.

This statement is false. There are tons of erosion in the show. Look at the exterior of the buildings. They are clearly weathered and dirty. Things are worn down.

Hell, the speeder that the Mayor's assistant drove in wasn't something that looked "just washed" but merely maintained.

There is tons of weathering that you are pretending for some reason doesn't exist.

Even the camera on your phone is dirtier than the optics on those cyborgs

P.S. Erosion is impossible on Tatooine. It's a sandy planet. And sand, as Anakin was never tired to remind us of - it gets everywhere. And he knew, he lived there.

    No, it isn't.

Also, Luke didn't get the price Han asked for from the Bike sale. It was enough for the down payment to Han, Obi-wan was planning of getting the rest on Alderaan.

Erosion is 100% possible on Tatooine. Sand and wind also erode.

You aren't going to see water erosion, you'll see the impact of wind and sand eroding buildings.

Erosion was always associated in my mind with water since water is the primary eroder on Earth. But nevertheless, the fact that sand gets everywhere stands.

For starters, the buildings etc aren't what I'm talking about. I'm specifically talking about the cyborg stuff, boba's armour and the cantina.

So I'm happy to clear that up. Secondly, there is no reason for you to be unduly aggressive. We're having a civil conversation here.

If you're unable to do so, let me know. We'll quit speaking. I have no inclination to speak with you if you're going to be confrontational.

Boba's armor is clean because he has droids cleaning it while he gets high on bacta.

The interior of the Cantina is clean because it's an establishment run by a woman and it's good for business since it's also a casino, it's not a mere cantina.

Cyborg stuff worn outside would not be shiny and clean. Especially not the optics.

Even Luke used a glove to cover his cyber hand when the synthetic skin (that protected it from dust) was damaged.

And droids are getting oils baths regularity or they get rusty.

Yes, but Luke also didn't get the money for the trip, just the down payment. It wasn't enough to the tickets. Again, the plan was a down payment plus pay money at Alderaan which I assumed Obi-wan planned to get from Bail. Just pointing out that the bikes do not mean they could sell them for money for a ticket off world.

You are comparing two unknown values. The value for a ticket off world vs the value of the bike. You don't know either number.

And that's fine on the rest. And sand getting everywhere is kind of the reason for sand causing erosion.
