It’s not 3 anymore... MTG deleted all endorsements of Gaetz from Twitter, but still has the post about Jewish lasers.

It might, but we're talking about a cult here. If Trump doesn't say "Gaetz is a good person" then the stays at the hotel mean nothing. The rabid fanbase don't check receipts, they check Trump's Twi...I mean, Trump's Faceb....I mean, Trump's public statements.

Although I'm a pretty mediocre person, I am not a mediocre spoiled rich douchenozzle. Its a little hard getting in his head.

I've also never had to suck up to a sociopath or his psychotic followers. For all I know the concierge at that hotel has access to his kind of gir..., I mean, women.

I wanted to capture your exceedingly salient point and bring it over here, hope that was ok.

Not really a great look.
I think Epstein is going to be the last person to buy their way out of sex trafficking charges - at least I hope so. Don Gaetz (Matt's dad) doesn't seem to have a lot of financial resources that would afford him the luxury of trying to buy his son out from the jaws of justice.

Yeah if I remember correctly, the Gaetz family was "only" upper middle class up until Matt's early twenties. Don Gaetz actually started a healthcare company that he sold in 2004 for half a billion. That may or may not be enough to buy his way out, I'm not sure. Subverting the legal system isn't an exact science.

Don Gaetz is quite wealthy. He certainly was wealthy enough to continually run for public office with no fear of his regressive beliefs hurting his personal life.

Fun Fact: Whilst he was still a part of VITAS they were investigated for Medicare fraud. They eventually settled.

You're right - totally missed the one-line in the Wiki.

I guess he might have enough money. I don't think it will be enough though.

And it continues: Apparently he may have ties to a dark money group behind multiple fake FL candidates, including one that's already been charged.

I knew about one, but had no clue there were 3 fake FL candidates.

At this rate I'm worried that they might like, find some bodies in his backyard or some shit. Probably not, but I gotta wonder how much more shady shit he may be into.

Honestly does not surprise me. With either of the accusations. The only way they can win, is cheat. And then try to blame Democrats of cheating, without any evidence at all, just so they can stay in power. Even trying to use other countries to help them get elected. Including Ukraine and Russia like they did in 2016 and 2020.

"Law and Order", lots of places have had that, Russia, North Korea, Saddam's Iraq.

Don't know if it's the same in Florida, but yeah, we have pig farms, gator farms, and swamps in Louisiana. All over the place. And everyone's family has a story about that kind of stuff. Occasionally, threats of "visits to Cousin Matt's pig farm" are still used.

Had a conservative roommate (family fled from Cuba) whose family owned a property pig farm in South Florida. He made jokes but sometimes you wonder

There's a lot of swamp and ocean down there. Lots of 'accidents'.

Be wary of any man who keeps a pig farm. Or so I'm told...

Man, Greenberg sure seems like he panicked hard at this shit. And apparently paid for the attorney of the woman whom he and Gaetz were involved with while she was under-age after finding out the feds wanted to talk to her.

I feel bad for the woman (she's 20 now) because she's probably getting hounded by media day and night. Just leave her the fuck alone and let the investigation play out, dudes. She's allegedly a victim in this whole thing, if she wants to talk she'll fuckin talk.

Easily in my top 3 and probably up there with the Godfather as one of the most quotable movies of all time.

Links back to NYT but that's paywalled, but it's got the salient info. Apparently Greenberg is cooperating with the FBI now, including snitching on Gaetz. I imagine it'll be a while before we see any effects of this, if this is all accurate, but this may be spicy.

Probably finally got one of them. Apparently my grandmother got one ages ago while she was still alive, I imagine ordered it based on all the Fox ads (she loved the channel). I think she returned it the next day, or the day after, because it was complete and total dogshit, heh.
