Not to happy with the font myself.

Looks better than the first phone wallpaper I made! lol. The wingish lightbeams look familiar If you make your character smaller then you have more room for a cool background. As far as text goes, I really like the way mipeo does his in his photoshop tutorial on the first page..as an overlay with an outerglow. Makes it blend into the picture and makes it more subtle.
