so anyone tried the lvl 80+ dungeons yet

would it be worth after getting the pre heroic gear i needed from quest just grabbing all the tabards id need and start doing the lvl 80+ dungeons on normal


i already "discovered" blackrock caverns because apparently its not blocked off and not in a cataclysm zone.im kinda curious as of how hard they'll be,i heard blackrock caverns was pretty easy on normal

Think back to the LK normals when you first started. Remove the AoE buttons. A bit harder than that.

Iv heard it wasnt as bad as everyone was crying it would be. IMO if you wanted to you could get mostly full quest greens and jump right in because that is what they were tuned for. The heroics are the ones that ya cant really aoe on and have to be careful on each pull. not the normal modes.

normal modes are not that hard, mostly because we outgear the 80-82 instances.
The new instances are alot of fun with cool mechanics for being a 5man bosses.

Wiped on every boss in Blackrock Caverns! But it sure was fun in my opinion! Still have yet to do Throne of the Tides.

Trash is still relativly easy but the bosses require more than just mindless buttonmashing (again, in my own opinion.)

They're reasonably easy, pretty much what I expected from regular low lvl dungeons designed for people in quest greens.
I'd have to say wrath early dungeons were easier, which is a good sign.
They're also pretty fun, makes the annoying occulus and boring as crap violet hold look like pure shit.

And when I think about it.... cata's lvl 80 dungeons are harder than wrath's heroics, and that my friend, is a good sign.
(Don't get me wrong please, when I say "harder" I dont mean they're hard, it only means they're not as easy turbomofo like wrath heroics.)

For even more fun factor, go run them with people who have NOOOOOO CLUE what's going on. It's fun time, I'm enjoying cata a lot so far, cant wait to get off work.

Yes did Blackrock twice and ToT once! Lots of fun...a bit easy with icc gear and guild, but still fun.

ive played this game long enough to know that things arent really hard in this game.and when they are hard,its pretty quickly to get nerfed back to easymode

First thing I did last night when I logged on was Blackrock Caverns - all in ICC gear, no Cata stuff. Loads of fun and wasn't that hard, we wiped a couple of times but that's cos we had a lunatic tank who was treating it like a Wrath HC and going way too fast for us, when we'd never been there before (he'd done the PTR). Anyway, if I remember correctly I got 70 JPs as it was my first random Cata dungoen of the day, although I don't know if bosses drop JPs. Plus there are like 3 quests (I only handed in 2) - one run gave me about 6 bars of XP in total. And it looked awesome!

think im gonna try it then.because from what ive looked up as far as pre raiding goes the quests im gonna be doing are like lvl 82-83 anyway,ya from looking it up again.one of the quests requires lvl 84 and one of them i cant really find

went in BRC last night with me (Ret) shadow and holy priest as we waited for the queue to pop to stop the ganking outside, we managed to kill the first boss easily without any problems

BrC was a bit of a letdown in terms of the difficulty I expected. Was able to pretty much aoe down each pack, then chain pulled it the following run.

blackrock caverns is mindlessly easy, if you pay attention. Healed it/dps'd it 5-6 times. First time was a wee bit tricky, I knew nothing about the place. Throne of the tides, that's a different story. Healed it/dps'd it twice each, hard as hell on a icc10 geared shaman (healing) simple if you pay attention on a mage. TOTT is rough, BRC is easy.

My two cents, looking forward to heroic.

BRC was barely different from WotLK 5mans, TotT is a wee bit tougher but still very easily manageable. Those actually hard instances will be heroic versions I bealive, these 5mans are more or less tuned for people in 79-80 greens/blues so when we went there, 5 of us in BiS 277/284... You know :P.

I dont have level for anything else and probably wont anytime soon :<.

only been to Black Rock and i find it very easy. maybe is the gear , but bosses aren't complicated, trash is easy, only thing you need to be is carefull, not to pull more than you can "chew".

BRC was first thing I did after I got past that Login Boss.

I must say I was really and positively surprised. Right at the start I asked if anyone knows the bosses and if no, what they need to know. They passed me Dungeon Guide and listened when I was explaining, thus we wiped only once (on third boss). Everyone waited for tank to get aggro, did not AoE much, CC and Interrupting included. It was very nice and smooth run.
