I looked at the pic Fencers posted wrong lol, I thought it said 18 gig but it wasn't even gigs...it was something completely different lol

Um Anet said even old beta ppl will have download the new client, so is that one new or old? Coz if its the old/past Beta client, there is no point in D/L ing it

Indeed, they helped make Diablo I/II, Warcraft I (not WoW) and some other games.

They were from Blizzard North, which handled the Diablo IP, not the Warcraft IP.
You can still see some of their handywork in Wow though, MPQ (Mo'PaQ = Mike O'brien Pack) files being a prime example.

Also aren't they cutting it a little close. I presume the client will be no less than 12GB and here we are 3days from the event.
And the mails haven't gone out yet. Well mine hasn't.

Anyone know where it's located (I know it's somewhere on my HDD as it has less space now then before I started).

What is the client version number? You can see it in the options menu, bottom left corner. The latest closed beta was 13,985.

Same place as where you started it from, it doesn't install as such - so most likely it's in your default download folder.

Didn't find it anywhere so I made a new folder and it deleted the client and started over again.

Not really a problem though, only took 2 hours in the background.

Well Vanilla WoW was really just D2 with a persistant world so you could probably say they had a big part in it.

Technically they are, it's just the installer that's the same.
The actual client is being re-downloaded.

Hey, i have to ask it, everyone is talking about a Client, but this is just the Client from the Last Beta they Managed to Update, right? There are NO Emails Sent Out yet. So when i did Not play the last beta i am not able to Download GW2 yet....i'm a Little afraid i miss something
