Kara in Cata? (POLL)

I think that part of the reason that Kara was so awesome in BC was due to the fact that it was the perfect entry raid. We have not had another entry raid like that.

Wtf ever happened to factions associated with dungeons too? The Kara ring upgrade from rep was an awesome idea and I have no clue why they scrapped it.

It should not be that hard to make a great dungeon. All Blizz has to do is look at Kara and Ulduar then make something similar. Not to bash Firelands because it has not been seen by most, but I really like indoor raids. Fire? Really? Fire is a real life hazard and if I wanted to fight fires I would have joined the fire department. Last I checked there were not any jobs irl that focused on killing old gods, psychotic ghosts, or dragons. No, Ghost Adventures does not count.

if they rehash 1 more instance this expansion i'm definetly out , its bad enough firelands has again ragnaros as end boss not to mention the 2 ZA heroics.

ZG is a completely different place and Ragnaros has completely new mechanics AND a new model. The only thing rehashed about him is the name, story and the fact that he's made out of fire.

OT: no new kara. The fights were nice and unique for the most part, but I'd rather them spend development time on a new raid instead of buffing kara to 85.

I wouldn't mind the crypts being done. Perhaps they could implement Med'an into the game since he's a really important character. Not sure why he still hasn't been implemented.

Karazhan is by far the most overrated raid in the history of WoW. It was so much fun doing it all of BC, would rather not waste time in cata there.

No... don't bring Karazhan back, I don't want to face not malchezaar alone but the legions he commands ever again. Not to mention he'll deprive me of my bow week.... after week.... after week.... after week.... To this day I have never seen the bow from Malchezaar drop while on my hunter

KZ was fun, brilliant and would love to see something with a similar theme...but different. As others had said Kara had its time and place, time to move onto different. I do love the idea of seeing old stories progressing, but not at the cost of getting new different content in game. If you need to get that old loving feeling that is Kara, well go run it...most of it can be solo'd now, easily 2 man'd.

Yes, last word on the gryphons was that originally they would have a FP to the top and we'd sneak in and work our way down. They scrapped that for the idea of running ground-up instead.

While I enjoyed the original very very much, I fear my happy memories will become tainted if it's bumped up to 85 or worse, made into a 5 man. But something new getting tacked onto it would be cool, a CoT 5 man/raid would work. Opening up the crypts might be a bit too creepy.

I heard a small rumour once upon a long time ago about there possibly being a second raid where Karazhan was inverted and you effectively fight your way down from the top of the tower to the dungeons on the ceilings. Rumour or not, part of me thinks entering the place, looking up and seeing the chess event in progress on the ceiling would be freaking awesome.

Yes. Wrath. End of Wrath. And Kara was in TBC. Beginning of TBC. Using same idea 4 years ago cleaarly say it was not scrapped.

I'm more against recycling in general simply because it ruins the game for a lot of the better players, plus the better/veteran players have already raided their lives out on the content once already, so really its nothing new other than a boss concept or two and every recycled item is just the same thing but with a new color scheme to it and possibly a new model.

Whatever they decide to recycle always was something which had great glory in the game and was a great memory of the game aswell...but then the new version comes out and you can tell it was just rushed crap Blizz is using for fillers and they make it incredibly ez mode for the current casual playerbase...yet they still fail horribly on the content.

Crypts would be AWESOME. But I have to say, we have enough to do this expansion (enough ideas), leave it for another one. But defo do it, just I am not sure now is the right time.

Kara is the only old raid I would like to see again recycled. Not this ZA/ZG crap.
