Question about leveling..

I'm hoping someone can answer me a small question.

I'm level 24 and just started Nar Shaddaa. Apparently its aimed at 20-24 and Tatooine aimed at 24+.

My question is should I just do the story quest chains on Nar Shaddaa and move onto Tatooine ASAP or stick around and be my usual completest self and do everything and risk being a fair way infront of the leveling curve?

Is there a negative to being too far in front of your current planet? At least I can solo most elites fairly easily.

I have yet to bother with Nar Shaddaa on my 3 characters, beyond the story quests that is.

I've done it both ways, where I outlevel a zone or I go to it at the appropriate level. It really is just a matter of preference.

Personally, I would say to quest there until you get tired of it. At least finish your class quests as well.

I would do it, because I basically skipped all of balmora, which meant further down the line i was behind in exp, I was 48 when i would have been 50 if i had done the easy quests when i could, i wouldnt have had to fight level 48 elites at lvl46.... which trust is a pain in the ass in some quests

Also makes soloing the content on the next planet a whole lot easier.

I'm a completionist. So I'm 25 and have only done the first 5-6 quests on Nar Shaddaa. It doesn't bother me. I actually kinda like outleveling the content a little.

I've had some guildies in the 30s before Tatooine. Nothing wrong with over-leveling content.

Only thing major is you need to finish your class story before you can start to do 50 stuff on illum

One other positive about completing the world, even though you out level it, is that you will be a higher level when you get to the mixed worlds if you are on a PvP realm. This means that you are less likely to be bothered or ganked while questing as level really does mean a lot in this game in terms of the abilities at your disposal.
