1.Capping a flag and immediately leave it when nobody is actually here to Call inc on it...
    2.Not Targeting Healer
3.thinking that isle of conquest is all about getting the Dock.
    4. Not taking orbs in temple of Kotmogu
5.Not taking bombs on Strand of the ancient and of course fight into the midle of the road instead of killing tank.
    6. Refuse to backcaps in Alterac Valley.

I know there are many other points so let me know how could we after 11 years of wow make bg better ....

I always liked getting a few friends and queing up, and doing backcaps in av. Shocking we won 75 percent of the time.

I'm going to guess you play Horde. Sometimes it seems like people just stop trying to win and play idiotically, claiming they are just doing what is fun while making the team lose.

I wish there was some sort of stacking buff you got each time you lost a BG, similar to the buff you get when you wipe in LFR. Have it stack with each loss and persist through death, have each stack give you something like +10% dmg/healing/health while joining a random BG.

A stacking buff like that wouldn't work at all. It would just create more of a clusterfuck because some BGs half your team has the buff while the enemy team has like 2. At that point, where the team with 2 buffs would've won in a fair fight, they now lose because your team has more players with higher buffs.

As for people tilting really soon into the BG, I'm guilty of that and often at that point for me to even somewhat enjoy the BG, I just mindlessly start killing people wherever I can find them. If that's at a flag, great I'll help the team fight. If that's on a road or at the edge of the map, too bad but I'm gonna go for that fight.

I can't exactly stay motivated when my team doesn't know what an interrupt is while I'm CCing the enemy healers or trying to kill them.

*rolls eyes* I hope your other 21,784 posts are a bit more insightful than that. You know exactly what OP means.

I do get kind of steamed when people fight tooth and nail over a flag, cap it, and then leave it completely unguarded while they go seek out the next target. I literally end up sitting on a flag in every single AB game ever, and I spend more time trying to figure out who is dependable and will help me watch the other flags than I do PVPing. It secures wins but it gets really tiring having to spend each time trying to figure out who can be trusted with a simple task and trying to get people to coordinate something akin to a strategy when only a small number of them have any intention of actually putting in any effort.

Oh hello, I just came here to make this thread. I am sure loving this BG Bonus Event. Just entering 3 days in, 32 BGs and I have won 3 (Thank god they're so fast to beat us, at least I can get as many as 5 BGs done an hour). Here's a nice tidbit that summarizes basically every single BG I've been in all event long, screenshot taken only 10 minutes ago in Twin Peaks. I sneak into enemy flag room, open my map to see if I had any back up coming and this is what I see.

And no, they weren't killing an enemy FC. They hadn't touched our flag yet. The ENTIRE team but me never left within 50 yards of the center of the map. I was the only person to touch the enemy flag the entire game. No, they weren't bots like you think, most of them were very active in chat. Including a Warrior who couldn't go more than 6 seconds without mentioning how awesome his damage is while just Bladestorming Alliance groups.

This is basically every single BG I am in. I swear to god it's like someone transplanted the K/D obsessed CoD community into WoW this week. It's an absolute fucking nightmare.

Well, if you encounter this every fucking day I can see why he's pissed once in a while. Many people do just totally stupid stuff during bgs.

Okay I totally get that there are lots of players who are already full geared and see nur purpose in winning but just want to rage into the enemy and catch as many killing blows as possible. It's not fair for people who really wanna win and stick to the strat, but I get the point and dont blame zergs.

But there are other players..those who seemingly try to stick to the plan but are (i must say it) so so stupid and brainless, it hurts. One example: just pressing on the enemys flag carrier; while he has 3 healers in his back which are totally ignored.
Or Silvershard Mine: I dont even know where to begin here. Not standing in the circles...chasing totally overcrowded carts or letting them undeffed too early.

And my absolute favourite: LETTING THE OWN BASE BE STEALTH-TAPPED when there are several "defenders" / Dont do antitap. or by killing every enemy on their base but totally forget to tap it.

How many times I'm the only one who cares and bring us the victory...one player CAN make a difference but this isnt really fun. Chat is being ignored or flamed, even if people call out "inc" right in time nobody seems to react. When I manage to get a solo-tap, nobody recognizes and helps deffing. Thats just ignorant.

I mean, bring this behaviour to a raid and youll get instantly kicked! Why on earth should we pvpers accept it?

Play Rated BGs if you want to play the objective. Random BGs are purely HK farming and have always been that way since the honor system was changed at the end of vanilla.

As if you enjoy being stuck in > 60 bg's a week with totally dickheads in your group^^ Encounter this and then we talk again. Not every class is accepted in rbg, but enjoy bgs and to go into spontanious.
Thats not true and a pure generalization of your own experiences. It happened since pvp gear was so easy obtainable that it didnt matter anymore if you win or loose. And since there came more and more systems into the game to purchase viable equip it got worse. And in the last time its really frustrating. Not only are there fully geared people who just go for killing blows, but many, many fresh boosted / rerolled chars who just wanna feel OP in the crowd (yeah, i look at you, ferals and dk's )

Lol....exactly just like i said....when the honor system was changed at the end of vanilla, that's when obtaining PvP gear became suddenly piss-easy over night.

Completely disagree. Not on the timing, but on the cause.

PvP gear acquisition speed doesn't change it, because being stupid and losing will still make getting your gear take way longer than playing properly and winning. You can inspect these kill farmers and see they are usually without full PvP gear, so clearly it's not them just goofing off because they finished gearing really fast.

It's the addition of continent wide BG queuing that caused it. When your queues could easily take an hour in vanilla, you made damn sure to fight, and win to make that eternal wait to get into the BG worth it. When BGs suddenly became 5 minutes to enter on a slow day, there is no feeling of needing to make your investment time joining the BG worth it.

You can even see this very clearly in action in the 2 changes they made over the years. These objective ignoring people always existed, but they got worse when they made Battlegroup Queuing, and they got EVEN WORSE when they made queues across all Battlegroups in a region. Showing that multiple reductions in queue time lead to less and less people taking the BG seriously each time.

in bgs there are that many stupid ppl that pvp without a fixed grp for rated bgs is something i never will do again.

i play since vanilla (did just a little bit pvp there for the rank above leutnant - dont remember the name) and i tried it hard for around 3 years between mid of wotlk to end of cata, again and again and again. and its like the op said.

ppl are dumb like brainless apes, running endless in the middle of the bg and do a zerg fest. nobody capture the flag, nobody carries, nobody protects own flag. its totally useless.

sometimes i have the feeling 80% of wow population (and therefore, as a reflection, the ppl in general) are too dumb for anything and its a wonder that they achieve to eat, shit and piss, instead dying.

i for myself just been hiding away from all of that and try to hide behind a few ppl, not dumb as hell, as far away from that totally retarded morons and masses, as possible.

and here we are just talking about quality of bgs WITHOUT bots... in my oppinion you could literally close all rnd pvp, and imlement 1 room with 4000 man deathmatch. it doesnt matter. ppl will run in that room and kill each other. endless. all effort putted in rnd bgs are a complete waste of time. so i understand why blizz sinve a while no more care about bots, balance and so on, in bgs. its useless.
