Poll: Should Mimiron’s Head drop 100% in Timewalking?

Ulduar Timewalking, should Mimiron’s Head be a 100% drop rate?

Blizzard has stated that hard modes will return in Ulduar Timewalking. So my question is: should they bring back 100% drop rate Mimiron’s Head on zero light?

My opinion is they should, for a few reasons. It’ll be incredibly popular, it’s only up for 1 week (so not like a ton more people will get it and will still be rare), and it’s already incredibly easy to farm so it’s not really prestigious anymore. Just rare.

Edit: i am assuming that it would still just be 1 person out of 25.

How about a FOS if you already have Mimrons Head... perhaps a mount associated to that.

    Same logic as the Warglaives

Don't worry if they made it 100% drop almost nobody would use it. Mounts, no matter how ugly, are used because they are rare or even unobtainable, while cool new mounts aren't just because it takes no effort to get them. That's how us players are...

You should have played back then, sorry but it should not be available as 100%

The beginning of wisdom is the statement 'I do not know.' The person who cannot make that statement is one who will never learn anything. And I have prided myself on my ability to learn

In my opinion this kind of rare drops should be made unattainable when the next expansion is released.

Just like the normal mode, there should be no reason for it to be a 100% chance now that its old content.

    Madness will consume you!!!

Nah. Just the fight alone was insanely difficult to do and the 100% chance was fair for those who endured and completed that fight when it was current. It would be a dishonor against the playerbase that did that fight when it was current imho and the drop chance should remain one procent.

From a player who farms weekly and haven't gotten it yet.

Droprate should stay as it is now.

No reason to make it 100%.

Do you really want it? Go solo a number of times and you will have it eventually.

They did in a blizzcon interview. 0 lights will be part of the timewalking.

0 light yogg is the hard mode, Blizzard said Timewalking Ulduar bosses will still have their hard mode. So yes, 0 light yogg will be a part of TW Ulduar.

Doubt it, timewalking is typically far easier than when content was current, since classes just are able to do so much more now. Perhaps wrath is recent enough that we're powerful enough to justify it but I'm not convinced. They want people to be able to complete timewalking, so they tune the regular version "just below normal". If that's the case then I'd imagine hard mode is "just below Heroic". If it's not mythic, you shouldn't get guaranteed mounts, and I say that as a weaker member of a heroic guild.

UNLESS you do the Alone if the Dark on timewalking, then Mimi's head should never be 100% drop.

  18. #18
Absolutely not. I like flaunting my rare mounts - they wouldn't be rare if most of you could obtain them.

    Cha.

Hard modes are in so if you can do yogg 0 I don't see why not give 1 out per raid.

The way to get Mimiron's head is to go do something unrelated in Ulduar because you're bored, decide to kill Yogg also since you're already close to it, and get the mount. Then proceed to linking it to your guild chat and watching people cry because they've been at it for a looooong time.

    Good times.
