Ogres Allied Race

I open this post to discuss the possibility of obtaining the ogres as an allied race.

In my opinion there is a great possibility of obtaining the ogres as an allied race because when we recruited the Mag'har Orcs with them a large number of ogres came.

As a racial leader they could put a descendant of the Imperator Mar'gok.

as an option to ride they could have the wild boars or the clefthoof.

Class:Warrior, Hunter, Wizard, Priest, Warlock

In case we obtain the ogres as an allied race, I would like that in the creation of characters we could choose the option that they have one or two heads.

What sort of racial traits would you see on them ?

I imagine something like being able to regen health and mana from uncooked food. Or get a well fed bonus whatever they eat.

A Stamina bonus.

Something about smashing, but with the tauren, HM and KT, it's starting to be hard to find some new ways to smash your opponent.

Passive skill: Gtuped Gridy - access to bank anywhere from any spot.

only thing i could imagine you could wear two helmets but the second is only like worth 10% of the stats as some sort of racial bonus

They need to be 14 feet tall or there is no point. Adding Ogres but making them unprecedentedly teeny makes as much sense as adding Gnomes but making them 6 feet tall. The only thing Ogres bring to the table are being gigantic, dumb and evil. Would be so dumb to subtract all of their defining traits by making them playable.

Why not Rexxar? He's already a member of the Horde and has even led a clan of ogres in the past; not to mention we already know that the racial leaders for allied races don't need to be the exact same race as the one they're representing, with Turalyon leading the lightforged draenei despite being a human

I don’t get why people are hung up still in Allied races; they were a BfA feature. WoW should get more races, not allied races

It wouldn't surprise me if the problem with playable Ogres has always been: no female model. They had to completely redesign Draenei to make them more...pretty. But it would kind of defeat the purpose of having Ogres if they did the same for them.

You need to add more classes...add shaman, mages and monks, ogres are pugilistic by nature so it fits and they are really good at magic.

Okay. How about a return of the Warcraft 3 "Devour" ability ? I know this was a kodo thing, but it suits the ogre fantasy. You could swallow an enemy, stunning him for some time while inflicting a fixed amount of damage and carrying him where you go, before spitting him in front of you.

Yes. Maybe a less sexist Blizzard will give us some ogre females that are not made to be overly sexualised.

Taurens are supposed to be bigger than the playable version though. They are fucking minotaurs who can work as siege engine, but they are made to fit doors.

lore confirms average size of ogres is 8ft tall, compared to tauren who have average of 10ft. they can totally be tauren size and be playable just fine with their "defining traits(that are not the ones you said)

Turalyion is the leader of the army, the draenei still have their leader.

Rexxar doe not want to lead, thats why he left at the first time.

thats because blizzard said allied race is a feature they will use to add new races. there is not more "core race", it was not supposed to be just a bfa thing, until now.

they could make then based on female orcs and the kultirans woman. Ogres ARE directly ancestors of orcs, and they are much alike, see, this is what a young ogre female would look like:

They rly don't need to be ugly as fuck to be ogres, both genders can look fine and presentable, like goblins and trolls

The argument that there is no female model is absurd. There was also no female model for Worgen once soon a time. If Ogres were made playable then they would create a female model. The current lack of one means very little.

I really liked the Roman take on the ogres that WoD had. Sadly, that Draenor is gone. Maybe some Ogres in Azeroth could revive that culture?

this is hat i expect/hope, the Gorian empire with all the romana esthetic with gladiators was freaking awesome.

their mastery of arcane arts was well done as well, plus, their society was fleshed and ready to be used, hell, we were even supposed to go in the ogre continent to explore in WoD, but it was cut
