Discipline Priest Leveling

Apparently, leveling Shadow got a nerf because Spirit tap got nerfed or something. I was talking to a friend, and he told me to level Discipline, but was too busy to help me make a spec, and help me with the rotation. Can anyone provide some pointers? The priest is level 68. Any help would be appreciated.

Shadow is still the best questing spec for us, but since you can queue for a dungeon anywhere, healing has became a very quick way too.

Spirit Tap was nerfed a few patches ago, but shadow still was the best spec to level as; and even if you were to level as Disc or Holy via questing only, you'd still take Spirit Tap because it gives a lot of mana.

Spirit tap is absolutely amazing for leveling/soloing regardless of whether or not it got nerfed, No matter which spec you are leveling as, you should definitely pick it up if you are questing/soloing.
