Online games playable with lag?

My internet is always spiking up and down with ping and this only really allows me to play a game like WoW without being affected too much. Are there other games that don't get ruined or affected much by spiking ping?

I guess anything turn based. If WoW with lag is fine for you, than any other MMO should also be playable.

I personally would't play many online games if I were stuck with lag.

As someone who's played on Satellite Internet for years, I can say: As long as you avoid PvP, you should be fine. You'll have an inherent handicap in some environments still thanks to delayed response to input or visual cues in the game, but with practice you can minimize it. Some games are just not going to be fun with latency(Diablo 3 is a prime example), but most should still be okay.

Tab-target MMORPGs with hotbars such as WoW, FFXIV (Especially FFXIV, since there's a forced 2.5 second GCD, so there should be absolutely no problem with lag), and turn based games like Hearthstone.
