While I agree it's tedious, it really doesn't take that long... like 30 mins? Oh dear.

Although I agree with it being meh, it grants almost an entire level and hardly takes any time. Sometimes I'd love for a skip option as well, but it's either that or the other methods of farming for your exp, so it's a no win scenario.

If that. Just did it on an alt yesterday. Was in and out in maybe 25ish minutes. Managed a level out of it too. It really isn’t nearly as bad as some people make it seem.

It can take 15 minutes and it'd still feel like each minute was as long as hour walking over shards of glass and barbed wire with bare feet.

It's definitely annoying on some specs, purely because of low mobility. But even on those ones it's still fairly short, especially if you use consumables.

While I wouldn't be averse to it changing, I don't think it's needed.

I haven't done it in a bit, but can you use the corridor creeper in it? If so then even shorter.

That's true for most of the expansion intros - and they were fine with allowing us to skip several of those, too.

You can get the same amount of XP in two dungeons. Granted it'll take a little bit longer but I'd rather do two dungeons or several world quests over that intro.

I doenst take long(like 30 minutes tops?), but damn its tedious to do. Every minute feels like an hour.

Maybe it has something to do with that we MUST do it in order to progress. We cant do anything else, we gotta go through it.

It takes about an hour at the most* however it's extremely boring. It makes no sense why you can't skip that but everything else.
Going into the Maw over and over again, same dialogue over and over again just to get your character into the place that actually matters in terms of progression for that character.

The Maw was fun for the first week, now it's just...well..

I imagine the mount from Torghast would help...

The issue is most of that 20-25 minutes is spent twiddling your thumbs waiting for the npcs to stfu. if it replaced that with idk maybe 2/3 more quests it would be more tolerable imo. twiddling thumbs is not fun.

Also, besides skipping the intro: If there was one thing I wish to see in WoW that is not far fetched or unreasonable, that would be: having mini dungeons made up of previous expansion raids playable as timewalking instances from 50->60 as a choice after clearing SL leveling content once for variety's sake as opposed to the repetition of the same 3-4 things over and over. 10->50 is so much more fun than 50->60 regardless of how many times you do it due to the massive selection of dungeons and many expansions as available choices to spice things up. This would allow you to see ALL content from previous expansions, not just the leveling dungeons and outdoors questing world, but the raids as well but in a different format.

Yes, you can use the Corridor Creeper (And if you are one of the few to get it, the Gorged Shadehound mount as well) inside the Maw intro, as well as (If you decided to for whatever reason) the Maldraxxus questline where you rescue the Morgraines from the Maw.

it's a very small investment that takes ~30 mins and you get a level out of that. How many chars do you need to level to be such a burden lmao

I'm on my 5th character through it, and it's getting real fucking tiring. That alone is stopping me from leveling more because it's just so boring.

And for the people asking if you can use the mount: Yes. It doesn't help. You aren't actually traveling far enough for it to matter very often, and if you are, you're likely limited by NPC RP more than walking speed.
The start - You need to kill mobs anyway
Mount to first big guy where you use horn - 20 seconds saved
Mount to Jaina - 30 seconds saved
From Jaina to cave - NPC RP, can't go ahead
From the cave - Only to go rescue Anduin is it useful. Maybe saves a minute
Going to Helya - 10-20 seconds saved
Saving Baine - Have to kill mobs
To waystone - Need to be close to Jaina, mount doesn't matter

You might save another minute or two from mounting to get to a mob you need to kill faster.

on a priest you can life grip jaina down to spead up her RP. Less Walky more Tallky as it were.

but yes. come next patch me need to get option to skip it. because i'm planning on getting all 16 covanant armour sets and if i have to go weapon shopping with Thrall acting like a Girlfriend who can't decided what she wants to eat one more time. i'm gonna pull the small amount of hair i still have out.

If only we could skip all the RP it would save up quite some time

It's not what you have to do, but the inbetween. The amount of RP on that intro was nauseating even in the very first time I did it.
