You can see where the shit was buried in the right side of the wall. He's lucky it wasn't a directional charge directly below him. He just got his shit rocked by the concussion.

friend of mine came out unscathered from an IED which mangled the car him and his mate was in... they were completely unharmed though the car had turned over... they both started laughing manically...

Probably wasn't a K9 unit. Lots of IED teams don't use dogs all the time. Having known a few guys and girls that trained the dogs they are really rare now to be deployed outside the base except on heavy traffic areas used by the Military. Good thing this dude lived. Seen some that you couldn't tell who they were after it went off.

I tend to agree with this. Because I wanted to understand better what my brother went through in Iraq, he showed me pictures. Some of those pictures involved mangled bodies, body parts, etc, etc. He would tell me how he had to pick up what was left of his friends, his brothers. It was.. mind numbing to realize how much he'd seen and done. Some of the public THINK they want to know or will be okay if they were to know what goes on over there, but I don't know.. I won't forget what I saw. I agree war is terrible and horrific, but my brother is one of those soldiers who would go back if he could. If not for the cause, then for his brothers out there.
