sabertooth 990fx mobo and quad core zambezi cpu

Looked up the mobo and learned that you need to update the bios so the new amd cpu's will work, i dont have a spare phenom II cpu laying around, and am wondering how much of a pain in the a$$ is updating the Bios via USB?

looking for answers from people who have done this, to a sabertooth 990fx specifically, unless you had similar experiences with a other mobo (open to changing to a new mobo if its that big of a pain)

You probably will.
This board is not ran by one supermind. We all contribute to the cause by sharing the knowledge we have as an individual. Together, that is a load of information, and is able to solve tons of problems quick and with ease.

Basicly, you need to upgrade to BIOS version 0705 in order to use Bulldozer CPU's
Here's the supported list:

The newest version of your BIOS is 0813 so I suggest taking that.
