The Dog is always a good pick. He is such a beast late game if you are a good AFK farmer

Today i played against a Kogmaw and he did 700 damage with Fervor of Battle. wtf!

Kog is insane. For some reason Riot decided to merge the best of 2 abilities together so he only has to level 2 spells. Stack attack speed, get a Lulu support for extra giggles, and melt 300 armor tanks in about 2.5 seconds.

Because that is how Riot balances things these days.

It completely blew my mind when i clicked death reccount and saw 700 damage from a key mastery. I had no idea FB had this much potential.

It's very strong on specific champions - I did a game was FoB Warwick the other day - he's so dangerous with it, it's great

I suspect FoB Xin Zhao would be similar.

For the first time in a long time i was able to carry a noob team of 4 players.
Swain is now my main champions after seeing this.
The enemy team was saying in /all chat to nerf swain because he is stupid. lol
We were behind 15 kills and i managed to get fed somehow.

I know this was only possible because the enemy team was also noob. But still Swain ftw.

Full Runic Echoes > Base boots > Rylai's > Upgrade to Sorc shoes > Lichbane > Upgrade to Alacrity > Hextech Gunblade > Dealer's Choice.

I've been told it's a stupid as fuck build, but it works for me. Nobody escapes, nobody catches you, except Udyr, and if you're good with your ult, nobody kills you (At least, not before you kill them, CURSE YOU TEEMO).

For last item I usually go for Guardian Angel, or Nashor's if I want to be an asshole.

If Swain is what he was when I played (and havent seen any patch notes saying otherwise), he is pretty much win or lose. Lose your lane and learn how it is to be useless for the rest of the match, win the lane and know how it is to be a God.
Most likely why they are planning on reworking him

Dangerous sure - but I'd want more early CDR / bit of tankyness I think.

Maybe I'll stick a DMP or something in there - overall seems good though

Imo I'd go for a more typical build like. Runic Echoes, Boots of Swiftness, Dead Mans / Iceborn, Abyssal, Randuins.

I guess you could change the Iceborn with Rylais depending on what you prefer or your team comp.

The written word gets easily taken out of content, especially with a scorned playerbase . I've seen it time and time again with Ghostcrawler when he was still working for Blizzard. I dind't and don't always agree what he says and does but I think he is a capable with what he does.

Return from Hiatus, jump into Ranked for placement, do well as support, get 3 assists early game. People start flaming for 1 misplay that mid did, mid afks, bot ADC afk's, toplane riven screams into the void, jungler wukong oblivious as the day he was born, game ends with a loss, I then shelve league again.

I've encountered a new playstyle this season, and it alone has had me stop playing the league after a very brief comeback.

In, I'd say, 70% of my games the enemy team decides to deathball the one lane that does best, bringing their 5 man team there to kill, and keep pushing that tower, after that T1 is down, they go the next lane, get that tower, then the next. all three T1's down before the 10 minute mark, after that it's just jungle control and GGWP.
It's pissing me off to no end, there are bloody lanes for a reason, there's a laning phase for a reason, and neglecting those 2 just to powerhouse a tower down with no one being able to do fuckall about it just removes any and all skillful play of the lane phase.

I'm out, either severely reduce the XP/Gold gained from early kills by multiple people, Give the tower a Runaan's hurricane or fuck knows what else, but i'm fairly certain this isn't the game Riot had in mind, but then again there's ALWAYS some broken shit in a new season Riot didn't account for, and doesn't do anything about until a couple of months have passed.

If you then take an engage top (Malphite) who can farm solo to 6 fast, any flank on a tower push is going to end in disaster for the enemy team.

I've not seen this strategy you're describing used once yet, it's very very easy to counter though and you can easily outpick and outplay it.

Sure, if I played either mid or top, i'm an ADC/supp though, which makes things a bit more rough.
Hell I don't know, I got dropped into Silver V (DON'T do placements stoned people, it's a trap) and I shit you not, people may say ELO hell doesn't exist, but the twits i've seen on BOTH sides of the rift suggest otherwise.
I sometimes wonder if any of them manage a single coherent thought.

Also, any defense through waveclears etc is easily dealt with through a tower dive, with 5 people diving a person or two under tower is no biggie. they get the kills, get the towers, and then move to the next lane, for all this "easily countered" I sure ain't feeling it.

Lack of tankiness is a fair concern, and tbh I've considered taking on a DMP or Spirit Visage a couple of times, but I've just not bothered. 99% of the time, thanks to Evelynn's permastealth and me still being lodged firmly in Bronze, nobody sees you coming because they're thick, so they can't CC you before you kill them. Then they're dead before they can panic-cc or panic-flash. Only problems are REALLY good Rammus', but they're few and far between so it's fine.

Prolly will alter my build if and when I finally drag my way out of the supports claiming mid is their rightful lane and destroying games, and reach Silver or Gold, or whenever people stop being stupid when Evelynn's about.

So I'm back, at least until college really kicks in. Haven't done ranked yet, but fairly certain I'll be fine when I do - been going top with my duo buddy, who is an Udyr main (the one dude I always play with).

Has Nasus received any buffs recently? Last I played before this week was before Christmas, and I don't remember him being quite as strong. I know a few of my items have gotten changes (TriForce's CDR, being a notable one), but all-in-all, I've either gotten very lucky with opposing players or I've done really well.

Last game we played last night, I leaned against a Darius top. He played pretty aggressively, but he backed off when we hit 6 and just continued to let me farm under tower - he had 2 kills from a TP bot that I didn't catch, so I was really curious. I (should be) in a high-Gold elo, but it's been really weird. Did everyone just forget how to play??

Our Kog even made mention of it - Rengar couldn't kill him and was complaining, and he just goes, "Sure, complain about Kog being OP, but continue to ignore the 9/1 Nasus killing your gates."

On another note, my hiatus didn't seem to kill off my skills as much as I'd thought. If anything, I feel like I've benefitted more, as I'm watching the map and everything more, making sure I'm trying to do everything right.
