Is Blizz really trying to have players forget what happened throughout the past expansions? Especially when the very core of the Forsaken is making new Forsaken out of the living?

actually the concept of the alliance being about justice,peace and contemplation/knowledge while the horde about freedom,honor and action has been pretty old, for example if you play the pandaren starting experience (obviously introduced in MoP) that's pretty much how the 2 factions are portrayed to you (as a neutral pandaren)

also you are aware that this is obviously how YOUR faction perceives itself right? what did you want to say in the orc intro for example? that you commited war crimes in the 2nd war and the humans hate you? or that 2/4 of your ex warchiefs were war criminals?
