I got to rank 7 (yes, I play slow) and used the second of the promo 10-pack thing. All I want is Beidou and/or Mona but no, I got Keqing, Xingqiu, and Sucrose all in the same set.

Now that I am out of that promo, should I be buying the one with the increased chance for Venti, just the regular character one, or maybe save until the next promo? I am new to the whole Gatcha thing so not sure what would be ideal especially since I don't plan on spending very much money, if any.

This promo is pretty good, so i'd use what you get on them. You will get a few free wishes anyways for the other wanderlust, but as far as roster goes, this promo is 4 of the best characters(as far as strength, aesthetics maybe that's up to individual preference) so no need to wait on it. And yeah I'm only rank 12 right now.

Definitely do the Venti banner, the best thing about it is that it doesn't have 5* weapons so you are guaranteed a character when you are lucky enough to get a 5* roll.

i was wondering what elemental mastery does? ATK increases your normal weapon damage but,
what about heroes that use earth, shock etc on their normal attack? How is their damage calculated? Does ATK help their damage or just stack Elemental Mastery?

When you go to the character screen, there'll be a button for "details" which shows exactly what your amount of elemental mastery does. As far as I remember it increases the damage of overload, vaporize, melt, shatter, swirl and strengthens shields from geo reactions etc. As you level up, these reactions will make up a smaller and smaller amount of your overall damage, so it's not really a stat that you need to focus on too much.

Attack increases damage of all attacks (normal and skills). There may be some character specific exceptions with skills that scale based on other stats. You can check these in the talents section for each character, you can view the skill details for each individual skill.

Later on you'll get additional stats that are damage type specific, eg physical damage, pyro damage etc. So if you had +30% physical damage this would boost all your main characters sword attacks, but not their elemental skills.

So far, the only 5-star I've got (other than the MC) is Keqing. Who's beast, admittedly. Don't know if my luck's just garbage or what. I do have a bundle of 4-stars, but still missing basically all the ones I really want.

Almost Adventure Level 20, so we'll see if things open up a bit like people say.

Running Razor - Chuuni - Xianling - Barbara. Weapon on Barb increases the attack of the unit I switch to after her by 48%. Razor basically has 100% uptime on his stand. Hopefully I can keep pulling these guys while I wait for one of the big boys.

and why Lisa is C tier. no idea. For me it feels like she is the most useful. when it is raining, when the enemy is on fire and wall climbing... ehm...

everybody is after Qiqi and I despise using her even though she has the highest atk in my team, she hits like nothing. I would gladly trade her for a Diluc!

1 more thing about Qiqi, in Japanese voice, she says some numbers. I forgot what numbers were those but some thing like 5677 5677 then anther set of 4 digit number repeated. Any idea to those?

Qiqi is a healer, she's not really meant to be doing great dps. Her heals scale off ATK stat though so she's "decent" dps. As opposed to Barbara who's heals scale off HP so will generally do complete shit for damage. Not sure on the numbers (I didn't get any 5 stars yet, /cry) but her profile mentions her trying to train her terrible memory with mnemonics... so possibly something to do with that?

Id say 1 5 star is reasonable unless you've spent like a ton of money.

and it does. level 20 has battle pass, more temple things open, Stormterror battle, The abyss tower ascention thingy opens, an entire new area for Geo stuff...

The only character off the top of my head that this could apply to is Paimon, the floaty helper girl. But she's not dressed in a sexualized way.

It says what it does in the detailed character menu.
It increases damage of elemental-*reactions* and only reactions.

Everything else scales with ATK... or in some cases HP/DEF.


Man... the gacha is truely, truely horrible in this game.
I'm basically done with the game and I didn't even get a 5* from the banner. 90 pulls.. rofl, can't even get 90 rolls even though I've cleared the game so far with all the free goodies and level up stuff. I think I'm at 70 pulls??
And the worst thing is I'm still missing 1 Fishl for her constellation to be completed.
The last one is especially strong from the looks of it.

Got qiqi going for venti. outside her being a zombie loli ugh i'm pretty happy cause need me a healer. I was shocked to get 5 star because i feel like I'm barely getting any 4 stars just weapon trash and got fischl 3 times, not that i'm complaining about that though hahaha

I want to snag either Venti or Fischl for sure however. I like using the bow but Amber's elemental abilities and just not that good. Especially since Xiangling seems like a damn good Pyro character.

Fischl + Xiangling has become my go-to for burst damage. Amber is okay as an archer character but yeah, her abilities aren't that great.

I use Xiangling too, she is pretty neat. Her Ultimate is an absolute blast to proc interactions with and her skill is good as a fire and forget ability, so you can switch out of her again immediatly.
Great support character.
She even reduces Pyro-RES with constellation 1 and will provide Attack Buffs later on.

That being said, I'm currently thinking about switching her out to a ice character because I'm using Barbara for the heals and Lightning+Water interaction.
In my opinion, Hydro and Pyro bite each other. Vaporize deals additional damage, yes... but I'm not seeing the big damage numbers from Xiangling since her modifiers seem rather weak?
In fact, even Dilucs modifiers are relatively weak for vaporize by the looks of it.
I think Hydro on Pyro deals 2x damage - which is obviouly useless if you use Barbara as a water character because her damage is low (even though the charged attack damage is decent)
and Pyro on Hydro only deals 1,5x dmg.
Since Gouba (the Panda) deals ~150% attackdamage on a semi-high talent level, I don't see that outclassing the Ice/Electro combo which deals AoE on top.

I kinda wish we had Water MC already and Water MC could heal people .
I love Barbara as a character but I don't like how she is hp% focused.

Slim =/= prepubescent. There are two that are meant to be actual children and look like it, Klee and Qiqi. But really, why does that even matter? This isn't a porn game or something. Maybe stop jerking it to videogames and your mind won't instantly go to accusing everyone of being pedos.
