Another day another plot by republican terrorists to kidnap a sitting governor. This time they were going after one of their own.

Revolutionary War. During the civil war they actually did use aircraft. They were balloons, not airplanes, but they did have some fairly important use. The Union even had a balloon corps!
Not that it has anything to do with the ignoramus in chief's view of actual history. Pretty sure he isn't aware of which century the Revolutionary War was fought in.
Freaking Rasmussen bringing down the 538 polling average by half a point...
In the poll where they have Trump +1 nationally they have Trump with 44% African American support and Biden only 77% Democrat support.
SEEMS LEGIT
The only thing I found weird about the entire exchange is Brian Tyler Cohen not discussing Biden's achievements as Senator and President. But I think at that point he was just like, 'this woman is too stupid to debate, so let's just leave it at that'. But yeah, apart from that, she's an idiot.
Nate Silver commented on that specific poll along with the Trafalgar Group polls as well.
How seriously are both parties taking the election?
Biden sent Obama to Pennsylvania.
Trump sent Melania.
"So, it's the same speech, then?"
Yes, Melania is going to the famous Pennsylvania town of Atglen, where --
"The fuck?"
How have you not heard of Atglen? The population is like fourteen hundred whole people!
No seriously, this is likely the most central location the could get to pull in rural voters. The event will be hosted by Kellyanne Conway and will be the first I can think of where someone who caught COVID will host someone else who caught COVID and I can't wait to hear those questions get addressed.
Incidentally, while Melania handles Atglen in all its glory, Trump will hit several other states. He's low on options, he has very few people he would trust on this kind of task, but still, with PA being so important, you'd think he'd do more than drop her off and keep running.
“Do not lose time on daily trivialities. Do not dwell on petty detail. For all of these things melt away and drift apart within the obscure traffic of time. Live well and live broadly. You are alive and living now. Now is the envy of all of the dead.” ~ Emily3, World of Tomorrow
Words to live by.
Yeah, I was arguing with one of these guys on Twitter (I know, I know) and when I linked him an article that disproved his point (with facts, not opinion) he didn't respond for two days. I went to his timeline and looked at his responses and he linked the article I linked him to Tim Pool asking for how to deal with it.
Then I put him on Mute.
People should really just do the same thing here; it would save a lot of pointless scrolling.
Trump supporters on Twitter think Trump will win in a landslide, when 1. Every credible poll shows Biden winning by almost 8 points, and 2. Trump didn't win in a landslide in 2016, and has only gotten less popular since then.
They really are delusional.
I got banned for reminding Ann Coulter that she got me banned for calling her a cunt when she celebrated the deaths of illegal immigrant children. This time it was in response to her saying she was sick of people policing language on Twitter. *comedically exaggerated shrug*

Yo, how do you feel about your guy raising the white flag of surrender to a pandemic? I mean, there are obvious jokes about the party made up largely of people who still find the Confederate flag a sign of "patriotism" once more surrendering in the face of adversity as they realize they're unprepared to deliver on their lofty goals, leaving hundreds of thousands of Americans dead as a result.
But are you cool with this? Just like, giving up?
