    Dracthyr Buffness

So it seems with the new article posted today, Dracthyr can actually look much more buff, this seems like a decent change to me it actually looks like a decent sized model now.

    Mod Edit: Added article link.

That looks like a lot of customization options. And they actually listened to players' feedback regarding body size.
    It's good to see.

It's not much more, it's slightly buffed - you're appear to be too easily pleased, either that or pandering or promoting.

I mean, Ive been pretty negative about them and I'm rather okay with the new options.

They are after all, casters only. I dont need them to be completely hulked out like an Orc.

It's a decent change but their heads are still fucked up. Goofy ass geckos need some work.

I don't have any skin in the game anymore, but what they really need now is a more chunky head. Something more akin to a Drakonid head?

    The bulkiest option satisfies me.
Few nitpicks here and there like the head is a bit weird but nothing major.

Yeah, plump body + all the heads displayed (especially the ones with big chins and horns) do fix lots of complaints. Of course people won't be satisfied until their big thicc bara daddy is playable but eh, it's not like Blizzard has ever cared about irrelevant forum complainers and their deviantart-tier complaints.

Blizzard will never win 100% no matter what they do. People will always dislike something.

I mean the buffetest option is about as buff as I'd want them so.....

It's an improvement, but I still feel like people are going to want to look like this model specifically:

I find the version we have now in the preview images (same armor) is better than that.
To me that's just a Tauren with a dragon head.

Option four is definitely better. Not quite as bulky as I think some people would like, but it definitely gives them a more powerful presence with a thicker core, larger arms, and bigger shoulders.

A tiny minority wants that monstrosity to be playable.

The Dracthyr we got are much more preferred.

They still look like abominable fetish porn.
The absolute state of Warcraft lore in 2021:

They're not, which is why Blizzard posted this.

Uh, this was always planned. You think Blizzard put out this blog because of forum complaints? Alpha is dropping in a matter of days and they want to preview the new race/class.

Am I the only one who is more concerned with armor variation than bulkiness? I mean, the armor is definitely going to be more distinct than the thiccness of your lizard. I'm really liking the new armor options shown off in the article, but I just think it's wasteful to put all this work into all this face customization only for every Dracthyr to be wearing the same 3 or 4 outfits.

EDIT: has anyone thought yet to make a "Dragonflight isn't even out yet and they're already buffing Evokers" joke?

We shouldn't forget about their visage/mortal form where standard transmog is available.

This is my main gripe now, yeah.

It’s very clear they can/do canonically wear significant armor now, I wish they could transmog their own armor too. (Maybe have it set if you’re using barber shop armor it hides transmog?)

At very minimum… I’m hoping that the Evoker tier sets can be worn in Dracthyr form. They can even sculpt the tier set around the Dracthyr because they’re likely going to be the only race that can be Evoker.
