Grimgor rushed forward, but at halfway to the tower he suddenly stopped. A group of ghouls and skeletons were charging inside the tower, but a sound of thunder came through the gateway and severed body parts and shattered bones burted out of the hallway. Thane appeared at the tower and gave him a glance, then continued fighting the flow of adversaries that seemed never-ending.
Grimgor rolled inside through the hallway thanks to the opening Chonar created, a moment later he heard the clashing sound of steel and bones again. He got up and turned back to the fighting warrior. Sudden surge of memories hit him as he heard Brother Sona's wise words in his mind once again: "Respect is the first virtue of the light, one of the three main pillars that hold our belief.". "Thank you Lord." he said calmly, and chanted a power word that would grant the thane greater constitution for a while, and then chanted another holy word, this time yelled at the end: "Aegis!". A thick holy light covered the dwarf warrior's body, guarding him from any possible damage.
Realising he did all he could for the fierce fight at the hallway, he rushed to the roofless top of the tower, where riflemen were taking shots after shots, trying to aim the huge aberration. Catching a better view of the huge undead there, Grimgor immediately gave up his hopeless plan of shackling the giant. "Even all cathedral can't hold this." he said to himself, and focused on mustering rest of his power to protect the ones around him.
((Let me know if that giant belly tries to hit that tower topside, i may have a trick at my sleeve as a last minute save ))
