Can someone do a tldr of the preview?

Sylvanas plans to invade Stormwind. As the Horde forces enter Orgrimmar thinking that their duties are over (the Legion is done), she decides that the army will stay marching, just in the direction of the Alliance. There is also a minor unrest in Undercity, some undead clique decided they don't really want to follow Sylvanas. Perhaps this clique will be instrumental for something (ie, if there are now four sides: good A / bad A / good H / bad H, these undead could be "good H"... and bad A would be Genn).

We just learned that Sylvanas is no longer ruling the Forsaken, but an interim group called the Desolate Council, and that she is planning to try and take Stormwind for its resources.

So reverse 5.3-5.4 without 5.0-5.2. Got it.

Maybe she gets killed in the book and we don't have to watch Blizzard struggling to write her out of obvious villainy anymore.

I´m calling it now, Sylvanas is going to kill Bolvar and steal the LK armor.

Well this story doesn't seem to give us any indication of such a thing at this time. She seems all about Stormwind at the moment. I don't see how taking down Bolvar helps her in the near future. It just riles up the rest of the Horde against her and lets the Alliance know that she's on the move.

What could she possibly hope to gain from it? She just trying to kill Greymane, or what?

That actually made me very sad to read. As if I'm someone living in Stormwind who just heard she's coming to attack.

The "Assault on Stormwind" map is still in the gamefiles in the map database and was available to queue for in the Legion Alpha.

So it will not be something that has a consequence I would think.

The map reference is still there, but the files for it were never shipped. And you could queue but it would never pop.

The maps is pretty much guaranteed at this point.

Jaina warned us about this. Just bad timing and all with Legion. What if this was within predictions of Old Gods? They knew Legion would be coming so they set up like this so that way both factions will be crippled from its war and they pop up like "Hey fam, we're here to fuck up the world. Lol see ya'll" and corrupt everything?

So Sylvanas takes Stormwind, Alliance will have Ironforge as their capitol, Gilneans/Calia will reclaim Lordaeron? That's my speculation.

Highly doubtful. Likely the battle ends in a stalemate.

If she asked my character, "Champion, we will seige Stormwind for a tactical advanta" before she would even finish her sentence I would fucking kill her. NO. im not going to fucking be the 'evil horde character' of this fucking expansion

Would Blizzard actually kick the Alliance out of Stormwind and give them Kul’Tiras as their capital? That would definitely be one of the biggest surprises gameplay wise they’ve ever done.

PS: Those who don't know which leak to pick, pick Cluemancer's. It's so cryptic that it can technically predict everything. (This is not a thumbs down for that leak, I quite like it myself. :-))

Can I be added? I think the cluemancer has some points, but I feel like it's gonna be South Seas as well
