Midsummer Fire Festival is live once again and runs June 21st through July 5th.

There's nothing new in 2020, but here's a quick recap of everything new from last year:

• Ahune now drops ilvl 425 loot.
• New bonfires have been added to Zandalar and Kul Tiras.
• New Achievements:
  
  • Extinguishing Kul Tiras
  • Extinguish Zandalar
  • Flame Keeper Zandalar
  • Flame Warden of Kul Tiras
• Battle-Hardened Heirloom Armor Casing - Sold for 600 Burning Blossom
• Fire Eater's Hearthstone - Sold for 300 Burning Blossom

Now is also a great time to take advantage of the hour-long 10% experience buff from Ribbon Dance. Visit any Midsummer Festival tent and /dance around the poll to acquire the buff.

These events rarely get anything actually new, outside of the occasional pet item, etc. The hearthstone was new to this event last year.

mostly because the post is completely and utterly wrong.. I just did it, and the cloak + staff are both 425..

Normally I'd be chomping at the bit to do Lord Ahune as a fun way to level lowbies, but with the 100% buff already in effect, meh.

Nice that they bumped it to 425... too bad that people got legendary cloaks and don't need them. xD

How about a better ilvl Frost Scythe, since we already have a Legendary cloak?

If they made the Scythe lets say 450 ilvl and give it a high drop chance it would literally be such a nice addition to the game and its reception. People would see that you cared to implement these tweaks.
