Curious what a lot of the symbols mean.
I assume red dungeon is nightmare dungeons. But pink?

Map sure looks interesting though.

Reminder, there is MANY dungeons, interiors, and cellars, so while it looks small, there is a LOT that is underground and not visible.
And this area here is the one we played in during this last beta.

It will expand with expansion packs one would assume. Running from one end in the beta to the other took minutes though, so I would think it's big enough. Considering many popular ARGPs currently have much smaller maps.

Surprised people think it looks small. I thought Fractured Peaks was pretty substantial and it is the smallest of five zones, plus Hell.

No, its more like 25-30% of the known parts of Sanctuary.

Its also mostly regions we've not explored before other than Kehjistan in D3.

That's cute. I think I can see the camp from Diablo 3 Act II. Also isn't the first Diablo without Tristram? Other than that, looks quite massive, at least they get the scale part of the open world.

think it's a quest in act 2 to the north west, probably lvl locked as other features, so what ParanoiD84 says can still be true.
Realised Scosglen could till be part of act 2, so maybe we are all correct.

So the map looks like it is split into 5 "zones", and we had access to one of them in beta.
If this is it - it's not too bad, but yeah I was hoping for more to explore.
Still good, but itll depend on the dungeons as well.

I think the game is not completely linear, like you can go to Scosglen OR to Dry Steppes after Fractured peaks.

You visit tristram in a quest, among other times I think.
Diablo 3 you could only visit tristram during the aniversary event which came out waaay later.
