He looked down into his mug, it was empty.
He let out a sharp whistle to get the barmaids attention while pointing on his mug.

A sultry blonde from the corner of the bar lowered her glasses and glared at Telcular.

The barmaid didn't notice the whistle.
Several new customers had just arrived.

"Kylene, get this gentleman a refill!"
Zephyr held her mug up and laughed as she gestured to the barmaid.

Kylene quickly ran back behind the bar.
"What kinda poison would ya like this time?"
She giggled at Telcular.


Ellié rubbed her head.
She looked up at A'dal, but quickly shut her eyes.
The blinding light only made her head feel worse.

Telcular turned toward Zephyr.
I am guessing you are here often?

Kylene nodded and picked up the bottle of rum from behind the counter and filled his mug.

"Are you calling me a drunk?"
Zephyr grinned at him playfully.

"Oh Zeph, you can't deny you love your liquor."
Kylene couldn't resist but to join their conversation.

Telcular let out a low laughter.

Telcular took a zip from his recently filled mug.

Kylene giggled.
"Zeph is a regular here. The only people here more often than her are Raliq over here..."
She pointed at the ogre.

She glanced over at the sultry blonde staring at them from the corner of the room.


Ellié wandered out of the terrace and into the lower city, hoping for something to fill her empty stomach.

He placed the mug on the table and let out a low burping sound.

Zephyr stared into her mug.

Seconds later, Ellié wandered into the tavern, rubbing her eyes.
Blindly, she sat down at the bar next to Telcular, unaware of his presence.
"Tea. Don't care what kind. Make it fast."

Telcular looked at Zephyr, the noice of the crowd makeing him not hearing Ellié.

He said with a rather confused voice.

Zephyr didn't look up from her mug.
"Look to your right."

He turned his head, and was slighly shocked.

Ellié flinched, falling out of her chair.
"AHH!"

Telcular jumped off his char, almost falling, he have had a little to much a little to fast, and standing up rappidly did not help.
He regained his balance and reach his arm down to help her up.

She reached up and grabbed his hand.

He smiled.

The barmaid placed a small cup of tea before Ellié's empty seat.

Ellié sat back down in her chair, acting as if nothing had happened.
"That you did..."
She rubbed her head, then carefully picked up her tea and took a sip.

Tea? In a tavern?
Telcular looked confused at her.

Telcular sighted as he looked back at his mug.

Ellié shrugged.
"My guess is she'll be fine. Her horns should grow back within a few months."
She smiled.
"Why? Do you feel that bad about it?"
