Blizzard Trademarks "Warlords of Draenor" - WoW Expansion

What's with all the hate about the title and what not. I personally think the title sounds great (much better than Mists of Pandaria, and yes I love this current expansion nonetheless). And if those "leaks" prove to be correct, a return to Outland would be awesome, and perhaps we even get to see Draenor in it's prime, you know, pre-Outland, assuming time travel is somehow involved. What if it actually is? Why all the hate on time travel? Just think: we finally get to see some major old school lore characters, maybe even take part in major lore events etc. There's just so many possibilities. As to making Grom the antagonist, I guess we'll just have to wait and see how and why would Blizzard do something like that. Whatever the next expac brings I for one have faith in Blizzard.

I think it could work if it was a sub plot. Just not over the course of an expansion. As it is we have no context to work with so fearing the worst is not wise.

If he repaired the whole planet all by himself(No artifacts involved) I will join the Thrall is nuts crowd.

I don't think they will, they already said that revamping Azeroth took too much time away from creating NEW content.
Although Outland is slightly smaller than entire Azeroth and would take less time to revamp, but i still doubt they'll do it.

It's possible to go back to Outland without it being another Cataclysm of recycled feeling content. Draenor was smashed into pieces and radically altered in the form of Outland, they could make it look like a totally brand new place when incredibly distinct alien forests and landscapes covered the places we've seen that are now just massive harsh deserts and shattered floating rocks, imagine Netherstorm or Hellfire Citadel more like Nagrand or Terrokar. They could feasibly alter things enough to make it feel like a brand new place in all but name for the most part with certain universal features to the land you'll recognize underneath it all at times I think.

Warlords of Draenor doesn't sound well. The dark below sounds ten times better. I mean when you pronounce it/write it. I don't believe it's expansion name though BC-like exp would be nice.

On the other hand, I for one am still (foolishly most likely) hoping for a new Warcraft RTS "Warlords of Draenor" would make for some awesome campaigns.

Alliance will get Arrakoa as playable race.

Time travel could work, if the passage through time is one-way only. Think about it.

I don't see us traveling in time to go to Draenor being relevant in any way, shape or form.

Do we actually know what this is going to be? I doubt it'lll be a WoW expansion, but I can see it being a Hearthstone expansion. It has a name similar to some of those in the old TCG.

Exactly what I was thinking.

However, Boub claims to be confident about it being the expansion name. IIRC, he hasn't said that without it ending up mostly true.
