What does "incidentally homosexual" even mean? Like I'm not attracted to any men at all, but I'm aware of some men's attractiveness such that I can point to a guy and know my female friend is likely to be attracted to him. Does that count? Or does it mean I've had homosexual encounters? I haven't, so does that make me a 0- Exclusively Heterosexual?

Id say that would be the second option yes, because I can't even do that, like some of my friends will say oh, so and so is an attractive guy, but to me guys just look like guy, I can't really tell if a guy is more attractive than another guy for the most part. I mean some guys are just like gross and fat, but for the most part males just look like males.

Why are people judging his scale? It makes sense. If you're exactly bisexual you'd hit the equally hetero/homo. If you're mostly hetero and occasionally/rarely homo you're probably #1. If you're disgusted by the thought of liking the same sex as you, you're #0. And the opposite is #6.

While I agree it's outdated and not really scientifically relevant. It's still a good basis to consider how one views their own sexuality in a forum.

I used to have a much harder time with it, but since I made friends with a girl who's very open about discussing that sort of thing with me, I've gotten a lot better at it.

I'm a woman and I am sexually attracted to men, but I find a lot of women attractive (moreso than men if I'm say, looking at a list of celebrities or something, I will pick out many women that are attractive to me, while only two or three men). I'm pretty sure that doesn't mean I'm bisexual since I've never wanted to have sex with a woman, I'm just picky with the attractiveness of men? Not sure.

Psychological tests have different ways of asking the question, which can get a more accurate picture of a psyche.

On the Kinsey Scale Bi-Sexual. Technically since I'm trans, and like Males, Females, M-F, and F-M I would actually be Pan-Sexual. Only problem is most people in the world would be WTF is Pan-Sexual is that something to do with the God of wine and parties? My usual answer is yes, it has to do with Pan the god of wine and sex

So the Kinsey Scale is limited but you should still be able to place your self correctly on it. For instance A guy who only dates M-F is Hetero even if the women he dates have male genitalia. So think of it like that. Trans people count as the gender they see them selves as. As for people who don't see them selves as a gender, they are true neutrals. And can never be 0 or 6 on the scale. Because no matter what the birth gender is and no matter the attraction gender/genders they don't count as a gender.
