My boyfriend went Attack/HP for his Aegislash. Apparently since his speed is shitty it's more beneficial to pump up his defensive capabilities.

From what bulbapedia says, its hp and speed at base are the same.

you train attack, and then you can do HP or whichever defense you think is better.

Right, but the point is his speed is 60. He won't ever outspeed anyone, is, I think, the reason for not EV training for speed.

I mean his HP is shit, yeah, so maybe you'd rather train his Defense or Spdef? I mean I suppose you could even try for a mixed with both atk and spatk.

But with no speed you have to be prepared to get hit (unless you use a Trick Room team) so you have to bulk him up somewhere.

I'd definitely say go HP, because you can probably game his Defensive Forme with clever use of King's Shield.

Can't wait for our veteran Pokemon from <GEN6 to come back. Imagine them saying something like "Make way, scrubs. Champions are back. Also, make me a sandwich" to our new Pokemon. Even though these old Pokemon aren't as good natured/IV'd/EV'd because I didn't care that much back then, they will always be the champions for me. I have fond memories of conquering Battle Tower Master with a team that included a horrible Poliwrath that knew Mind Reader/Hypnosis/Blizzard/Focus Blast that served only as a Water-moves absorber.
