Can I manually reset trash in heroic dungeon?

wowwiki says it's possible but it's not working for me. i click 'reset all instances' but nothing happens (no message and trash still dead).

If you killed the boss which the trash is leading to, the trash stays dead.
That's what I recall.

Also, time permitting, you can only do it 5 times an hour i believe. (Might be wrong, could have changed)

Correct. Same mechanics as a raid. Once you kill a boss all trash leading up to it will stay dead until the instance lock is reset.

Yes this, pretty much, since Heroic dongeon is reset once a day, if you kill a boss, the trash before him wont reset, until the reset of the isntance itself

nah, still there and it will reset as soons as, from the first time you enter it, you count an hour

ye i killed the bosses so that explains it.

(that's just for manual reset though, trash does come back after half hour even if bosses are dead)
