Okay, I can understand that. My mom drinks like 3 to 4 everyday, or used to, and I always told her to stop because it's too much. And now 6-8? Damn!

My therapist told me to drink coffee before bed if I had trouble sleeping, because the reason for not being able to sleep can actually be not having enough energy. Falling asleep is an energy consuming process. It works!

She's kind of always hyped and I believe the coffee to do her not so well, because she can barely sleep at night. But meh, it just felt like too much. I haven't said anything for more than a year or so about it though, since we haven't been going out.

I drink between 2-4 cups a day unless I instead have an energy drink or something.

When my mom was younger she was drinking 12-16 cups a day and landed in the hospital because she couldn't stop shaking after a month of that much coffee.
