Jinyu are just reskinned night elves. Everything else just doesn't fit into lore. I'd like to see a race like the people in uldum (can't remember their names) but instead of four legs, they stand on two. Tiger-worgen!
Grummle.
...well, I play a Gnome, so go figure.

I don't really mind Pandaren, my monk is even one. But if I had to choose something else for the two factions i would say saurok for horde ande everything ther than Jinyu for alliance, god I hate those fishfaced night efls.
There's no real lore reason to have the Mogu, Saurok and Mantid become playable, especially since the Mantid are aligned with the Old Gods.
Isn't it ironic how education is important, yet people forget all about it when they visit the internet?
would love to see saurok
wouldn't add race to Panda expansion. Only monk class.
then Ogres for Horde
and Furbolgs for Alliance
I'm of the opinion that Furbolgs aren't ever going to be elevated to player character status, especially since pandas became one. Do we really need two bear/man races? Or for that matter a 4th furry mammal/man race (two bears, a cow and a wolf). I'm still OK with an *animal*/man mashup race but no more mammals please, let's see some scales (drakonids, saurok, nagas, etc...)

I did say that I would love to be a Mantid or a Mogu but I have been derping around as a Saurok in Isle of Thunder and I think I am in love.
They are so freaking derpy. Cute.

I want harpies! Would love a bird race that can actually fly.
as I said Pandas is something that shouldnt happen and they are the biggest problem for Furbolgs as a playable candidate.
but on the other hand lorewise they(with High Elves) are the most logical choice. Got reason to fight Horde(goblins harvesting their lands). Got reason to join Alliance(good friends for a long time and NE helps them with cleaning forests from fel corruption). Got their own lands on the Alliance-Horde border. Got their own cool capital. Got lore, history connected do known azerothian history and civilization.(I talk about uncorrupted tribes not corrupted crazy sadists)
But they added Pandas which made Furbolg candidature less possible. On the other hand most of other possible races has too much or too less legs what might be the problem. As well as their territories are far away from Kalimdor/Eastern Kingdoms where the political conflict takes place. Arakkoa chilling on other planet, Nagas diving in the deeps doesnt rly care what happens on the surface, Vyrkul are skiing in Northrend.
Thats why I like Furbolg/High Elves and Ogre conception because they are simply easy to implement w/o spaceship crashing on random island or something like that. And imho it would be much easier to make them fit to more than one expansion because they are close to Orgrimmar(Ogres and Furbolgs) or Dalaran(High Elves) so the places that have their own episode in every expansion.
I don't understand why Blizzard doesnt even try to develop other races. To give them reason to join Horde or Alliance. Most of speculation about races is that they got cool model(Jinyu) or few of them worshiped light(Arakkoa) or are like humans(Vyrkul). No political reasons to fight or support one faction :/
Jinyu would never be a playable race, they use the same body as nightelfs, it would make alliance players VERY angry.
However i would like to see a playable saurok.
