What's some of your favorite OPs and EDs for anime?

Rules:

They have to be memorable.
They have to be accepted by a mainstream audience.
They can't hurt your ears.
The more mainstream the better.

Only heard the s2 english song later on, it's still good though.

Adding my vote for "A Cruel Angel's Thesis". There are OPs I liked more, but Evangelion's is unforgettable.

I'm Brincamian#1660, since we're passing out battletags. I play WoW/Hearthstone still, and occasionally Diablo (bought RoS but haven't even started it yet, lol)

As for memorable/mainstream OPs, I'd have to go with Inner Universe from Ghost in the Shell. The fact that it's super recognizable to me despite not watching the series yet says a good amount about its popularity, and I think it's a fantastic song. One of the singers also does some of the stuff for the LOTR soundtrack. The Cowboy Bebop OP is another awesome and mainstream one.

The biggest ED that comes to mind is Hare Hare Yukai, and while I'm not really a fan of the song, its mainstream success was pretty ridiculous with people setting up group dances at cons and it being one of the most recognizable dances in all of anime. All my favorite EDs are probably too obscure to use, those darn rules are messing me up! =P

Got all the way to level 69 and the Ruins of Corvus just before Adria and just gave up on Torment. I told myself I wouldn't.. I did.. but creatures one shotting you ranged? Guys who resurrect their fallen instantly over and over until they're dead? NOPE.

They still one shot me on master, but at least they die quicker.

You still havent accepted my friend request zathe! ;< also i did act 5 on master till the Reaper and i couldnt beat him i simply lacked dmg with my 140k dps <,< got him to 60% then minions overrun me ^^ (also little tip you level faster if you just rush act 5 and go adventure mod you get silly amounts of EP from the quests also at 70 even on normal adventure mode your get lots of good yellow so that you can prepare for rift farming on torment ;D

Friend thinks he can just blaze through Torment III on Act V because he's having an easy time with it on his Crusader through Act 1-4, but on Master.

He thinks he won't get one shot because he's a Crusader.

Ahaha.

I can't wait to see his pride get flushed down the toilet and see him on Master by the time he's at the first boss.
